One of the most touching stories in Kanon (already the emotional tour de force on its own), culminating in a heart-melting scene backlit by the radiant fountain at night, Shiori Misaka is truly a moe force to behold, with a shy yet strong personality, a realistic yet cute and unique character design, and a glowing smile (see KholdStare's avatar). And she's pretty smart on her feet, too - she reveals a maturity beyond her years, with a poetic wit and a taste for the romantic nigh unmatched.



A miracle occurred for her once in Kanon, and this time, we can make it happen again. After placing 48th out of 48 in nominations, your effort helped propel her to a massive comeback victory in Round 5 of preliminaries, after 4 rounds of being forgotten. Thanks for everyone else who posted their pics, and that cosplayer really shines That Shiori "intro" scene from Kanon is just so memorable...

She'll be getting a lot of votes from me this year (as in last year)

We have to offset in ISML's voters the faded memories of Kanon's "dated" winter and warm up the hearts of these jaded faddish fans who only vote on what's the newest and the latest!!
