Holy...The Konata one is so damn cute I'm waiting for the big Konata gym clothes figure to release 30/08/2009. I so want that one. 1/4 scale...

Yep I saw that 1/4 one. But the pose/clothes didn't atract me enough for the price she has. But she should be beautiful...

That is a good Haruhi! I understand the satisfy hunger part... recently got a Yami-chan but after that there will be at least 2 months without any new figure for me ;_;.

Promised that I wouldn't get anymore figures, but I gave in finally. I ended up buying Alter's Yuki Nagato. The expression on this figure really sets it apart.

I'm planning on buying this Subaru Nakajima figurine once it releases.

Well nice figures you have there. That Subaru from Alter is really great! Great enough for me to want to buy her even when I don't like the character that much.
Well Alter version of the Strikers characters are all amazing. I really need to buy their Fate but because of it's unreasonable price I will need to give up in buying others to have money for her. This is the sad fate of the figure's lovers! (well at least ones that aren't super rich... )

Hmm, it's essentially just plastic that happens to be crafted into characters we all adore. Maybe it's because it's time consuming to design?
Meh, who knows.. All I know is that it is too expensive, and us otaku are willing to pay for the stuff xD

Their upcoming Fate figure is actually what I plan to get next. The only thing that might stop me from doing so is the price.
She's nearly double in price compared to the rest of Alter's figurines. It's worth the price, but still...

Yeah, Strikers' Fate' Alter price is a big problem... but like you said it's totally worth it... great pose, very well detailed, it's one of her cooler versions IMO (Sonic Form), her size (35 cm high, her bigger is sword is 56 cm long and her smallers ones are 27 cm long each), and, of course, it's Fate!
And like you said we still are willing to pay for figures even when they are that expensive. Even this Fate from Alter already have reservations closed in HS even being that expensive!

Anyways some new figures that should be available to pre-order online tomorrow (well tomorrow in Japan so later today or earlier tomorrow), both from Alter:

I just sold my psp to pre-order the Alter Fate figure. Yes, I was that desperate and determined.

And buying GSC Swimsuit ver. Fate is also a inevitability. Hope this doesn't mean I have to say goodbye to my fellow DS.

But it will be released on august (and is likely to be postponed one or two months) and you can pre-order it in many sites without paying... couldn't you gather the money till when it was released..?

The economy is quite literally killing me, and I couldn't take the risk of having the money in time for when it released. Figured selling my psp and putting aside the money was a better idea to make sure I can pay for the figure once it releases. 150$ Isn't easy to save when I'm barely scraping by atm.

Sonic Form is actual my favorite style for Fate, so I'm really hoping I'll be able to get the money to buy it. It's on the top of my priorities list right now xD

That swimsuit ver. of Fate is absolutely stunning though. I would love to buy that as well. I hope it doesn't get released anytime soon, because I'd like to find the money for it first >.>
