I’ve noticed there’s a new feature that directs people to the bios of all of the contestants. Could this page possibly be updated with all of the past contestants for all the way from 2008?

Thanks for your comment; I’ll address this in the next news post. The feature isn’t actually new, but I understand now how you would not have thought to click on it because of the drop-down menu. Bios for former Contestants can be found on the 2008 and 2009 websites (now linked for more clarity), but we don’t have plans to bring all of them up to date just yet.

Why using necklace like Aquamarine,Topaz and etc. instead using tsundere queen or cold queen(maybe) and so on?hmmm.

    • Crisu says:

We have been using the seven gemstones since we started in 2008, and it’s become a staple of ISML now, so that may never change. A term like “tsundere queen” is a little too specific; for example we might have to hold a ‘SaiTsundere’ tournament for that one. The necklaces allow us to hold a tournament that spans all varieties of moe.

ahm…aren’t there any competition like this for shonens??..

Korea Best Moe has a male-division tournament that usually starts in March and lasts about three months; it started in 2007. I recall at one point someone tried to do a SaiGAR tournament, but it wasn’t managed very well and was never finished.
