Results have been released for Round 1 of Ruby Period. See the winners on the front page! Then check the Statistics Portal for all archived results.

Congratulations last week to Tachibana Kanade for winning the Amethyst Necklace, which is a new necklace in her list of awards.

Ruby Period’s defending champion is Yūki Asuna; what will happen this year? Will Nova Division claim a victory?

Good luck to all our Contestants, and thank you to our entire community for voting and following us all year round.

2013 Ruby Period is Over!

Saturday, June 29th, 2013

Ruby Period has flown by with the blink of an eye and it went quite smoothly too! With that, we’d like to congratulate Yūki Asuna for obtaining the Ruby Necklace, making her the first Nova contestant this year to win a necklace. We’d also like to congratulate our Exhibition winner, Momo Belia Deviluke, for a close win and grabbing the Ruby Medallion!

We’ll begin to transition towards the Emerald Period which is our second-to-last Period of Regular Season before we head into our Elimination Phase. We’d like to thank everyone for your continued support to this tournament and for helping us to improve as each year comes and goes. And all of our contestants also thank you for your votes to help them towards winning the 2013 Heavenly Tiara.

Please sit tight as we get ready for Emerald and as the fight for the top 16 spots into Elimination continues. Feel free to post at our forums as you wait and thank you for continuing to vote in ISML!

Ruby Period has ended!

Saturday, July 21st, 2012

With the completion of Ruby Period, we’re more than half-way through Regular Season and there’s only Emerald and Topaz left to go! And of course, we’d like to congratulate the winners of the Ruby Necklace and the Ruby Medallion. Misaka Mikoto worked hard throughout Ruby to stay on top and that paid off with her successful grasp of the Ruby Necklace. And in addition, C.C. was awarded with the Ruby Medallion for her victory in the exhibition inter-division matchup. Congratulations to these two wonderful contestants for their hard work towards a successful victory.

Thank you everyone for taking the time to vote and support your favorite contestants, and we’ll hope you’ll join us in the Forums if you haven’t registered already!

We hope to continue seeing your support when it comes time for Emerald Period!

Ruby concluded

Saturday, September 10th, 2011

Congratulations to Shana for winning the 2011 Ruby Necklace! Voter support helped her overcome both the one loss from earlier in the Period and the resulting deficit in SDO. It shows that anything is still possible despite the challenges. To some fans, this particular win comes after very long wait.

Only Diamond Period remains in the Regular Season. One more Necklace is left to claim, and we’ve had many deserving candidates in all of our Necklace Showdowns so far. Who will end up on top? And if you notice the statistics, we still have two undefeateds in the overall standings. Kanade and Mikoto will meet very soon, and it’s a match you don’t want to miss in the upcoming weeks.

Nine Contestants have clinched the Postseason, and we draw closer to knowing all of our Top 16 with each passing Round. Those on the bubble (not yet highlighted in red) still have a chance to battle for a spot. We wish all of our girls the best of luck!

We are on break again until next Sunday, the 18th. Match previews will be available soon.

Our exhibition winner this Period is Illyasviel von Einzbern, who wins the Ruby Medallion. Congratulations! Illya just missed the Regular Season this year after two winning seasons in 2009 and 2010. We’re happy to see her still competing well.

Thank you for voting! We’ll see you next week!

Ruby over

Tuesday, July 20th, 2010

Congratulations to Misaka Mikoto for winning the Ruby Necklace! A number of upsets occured in this final round; both of our undefeated Contestants are no longer perfect, but they still retain their #1 and #2 ranks for the time being. The postseason gets ever closer, and the number of contestable Top 16 slots gets smaller and smaller. As of this round, the Top 8 are guaranteed a Double Elimination berth. How will Diamond Period play out for our girls?
