Re: 2014 Postseason general discussion thread

It's almost terrifying how quickly even slightly older girls are being forgotten already... The only ones who dropped: Ruri - repeat champion + she wasn't that great near OreImo ending Eu - I guess it finally got to her, it's a miracle she was in the top at all. Mikoto - bad day + Ausna eliminated ...

Re: 2014 Postseason general discussion thread

matchbaby, you're saying you want Kanade to gather all the necklaces. How is she supposed to do that? You have to remember that Emerald and Ruby are respectively 3rd and 4th. So one year she'll have to miss two necklaces and other year she'll have to miss three necklaces. How is she supposed to do t...

Re: RESULTS: 2014 Postseason 6

Equal with 9.6k VD less despite having two wins more? If not for unusual Topaz period, when Mikoto vs Kanade doubled amount of voters and Mikoto won, resulting in making Kanade Mikoto's underling (we all know how heavily Mikoto's SDO underlings were attacked that year, with hundreds of votes) which ...

Re: RESULTS: 2014 Postseason 7

WOW. Such interesting results! The news of the day: Asuna is out. After everything that happened in Circlet I'm relieved she's no longer contending for Tiara but I would prefer if someone else (really, anyone would work) defeated her. Oh well, Mashiro is very strong so it isn't that surprising, impr...

Re: RESULTS: 2014 Postseason 6

Again, that's not how it works. Last year, Kuroneko was on a roll, at her very peak, especially after winning vs Kanade in Topaz 7. People wanted to continue her perfect season because it was her first and most likely only chance. Meanwhile Kanade was antivoted more than usual thanks to being Tiara ...

Re: RESULTS: 2014 Postseason 6

Are you for real? Yes, I am. Do you seriously think that people who don't want kanade as a repeat winner are going to wait for the finale when their best chance to ensure that she wont get it is obviously now. Furthermore, right now she will face strategical votes that won't be here in the finale a...

Re: RESULTS: 2014 Postseason 6

I... don't understand. What's the point? Nanami surprisingly wins vs Eu but who would want to snipe the Necromancer? Kotori who never showed a tiniest bit of real strength? Kuroneko who is doomed to fail this year as current Tiara holder? Kanade who always overperforms on Eu? For Asuna fans it shoul...

Re: RESULTS: 2014 Postseason 5

Oh man, Asuna doesn't show any intention of stopping anytime soon. Circlet clearly wasn't enough for her, you could say it was just a warm up for the real thing. What I can say about Asuna supporters is that they definitely know how the tournament works and abuse it to the fullest. I like Mikoto and...

Re: 2014 Postseason general discussion thread

This is bad, really bad...

Kanade has to HOPE Mikoto advances to final if she wants to win. Killing Asuna or Mashiro would certainly be possible for Kanade in early stages but in the Tiara match the anti-repeat crowd would be deciding factor.

Re: Senpuu Saimoe Tournament 2014

I love ties! I think that's the most attractive thing about smaller tournaments, when characters can foll the destiny and get another chance. I think both Hinagiku and Tohka deserved to advance to further stage, so it's really nice they got the same amount of votes. There will be different opponents...

Re: VOTING: 2014 Topaz [Necklace Round] - 21 August

Hina isn't the first character with hairclip, nor she is the one who popularized hairclips so you're fundamentally wrong by calling Shinka a Hinagiku clone. Find a different term. The fact that you know Hayate better than other shows is completely irrelevant to validity of calling someone a clone of...

Re: RESULTS: 2014 Topaz 8

Way to miss the point there. Twisting the meaning of Japanese word so it's the same as perfectly valid English words AND the same as already popular other Japanese word is as far from progress as you can get. I'm glad you aren't in charge of evolution because instead of thinking about bows, we would...

Re: RESULTS: 2014 Topaz 8

Desufire, I take it you would say that Kanzaki H. Aria, Misaka Mikoto, Makise Kurisu and Sanzenin Nagi all have the same basic personality then? Yes. They are all tsundere basic personality. They all have a dislike towards a character that slowly turns into a friendship or love over time. That is n...

Desufire, I take it you would say that Kanzaki H. Aria, Misaka Mikoto, Makise Kurisu and Sanzenin Nagi all have the same basic personality then? "Moe" as we in anime fandom/otaku circles use the term simply refers to the cuteness or adorability factor of characters. You use it wrong. It's Japanese w...
