Re: What game are you playing right now?
I'm taking a break from playing through some VNs and replaying Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines to spend some time playing Auditorium. It's a pretty fun puzzle game and I'd certainly recommend at least trying out the demo.

Re: How long have you been into anime?
Not counting the various anime I saw late at night on BBC 2/Channel 4 (which never happens these days :(). I started seriously watching anime in late 2000 when I purchased some Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040, and Queen Emeraldas on VHS. For the first year or so, I only really watched things released in...

Re: Faction/Studio Wars
You could even count Hayate no Gotoku girls for J.C. Staff as well, but I that might be a bit of a stretch. Considering they've only put one OVA out so far.
I think the Hayate girls will be staying under the SynergySP banner for now.

Re: Aquamarine 1 - 16 March
Ahh here we go with my votes (bold) and inaccurate predictions (underlined). Furude Hanyū (HNKN) Shana (SnS) A pretty easy vote choice and prediction really. A girl I've not seen yet Vs Shana.. Misaka Mikoto (TAMI) Misaka Shiori (KN) One the weakest of the Kanon girls this year (again) I'd expect. I...

Re: Faction/Studio Wars
I think Kyo-Ani will be a little less dominating this year than last year at least. I'd say J.C. Staff even have a chance of matching (or beating) them in number of girls in the top 16 at the end of the regular season. But I still think it'll feel rather dominated by Kyo-Ani just because they have s...

Re: Main Site Bugs and Errors
This is only really a tiny "error".
On the contestant pages Minori's name is spelt Kushieda Minori. Whereas in the schedule/results pages it's spelt Kusheida Minori.

Re: Main Site Bugs and Errors
On the new contestants page (very nice btw
), the summary on the right never gets updated when hovering my cursor over Kasuga ''Ōsaka'' Ayumu, it always displays the details of the previous character. Every other character is fine though.

Re: Visual novels
For 2009, the only Visual Novel that I know of that really I'm interested in buying as a non-Japanese speaker is Yoakemaeyori Ruriiro na -Moonlight Cradle- from August. It's only because of the character designs are really attract me to it, I don't know much else about it, although I've seen a part ...

I'm from the wonderful town of Ludlow in the United Kingdom. Also looks like I'm the first from (or the first that voted for) the UK

Re: Your ISML list...
I've gone through the applet twice now, the first time I added in a number of ties between characters I don't really like, which boosted their rankings a bit I guess. So here is my list from the applet: 1 Illyasviel von Einzbern 2 Shana 3 Misuzu Kamio 4 Nanoha Takamachi 5 Yuuhi Katagiri 6 Makoto Saw...

Re: Visual novels
I Not much different from a lot of what's been posted here. ^^; Recently, I started to look around for translations again, so maybe this thread will help me choose. I don't think that's really surprising, given that I expect most (not all :p) of us can't play VNs in Japanese, and there really is a ...

Re: Visual novels
Yup, Yume (I misspelt it) Miru Kusuri has been translated. It was translated by Peach Princess (so an official translation), and there's even a download edition available finally, which is what I bought. I'd say it's certainly well worth playing. I'm with you on this (as should be a lot of others to...

Lastly, I used like to play some old school VN [are they even called VN?] Two that I really liked: Nocturnal Illusions True Love I've played both of those, and they're pretty fun. I especially enjoyed True Love, although it's more of a dating sim game I guess. My Japanese is rather..weak so I'm stu...

Re: MyAnimeList
I never used to use anything to keep track of my anime watching habits, except shelves of VHS/DVDs, and my (bad) memory for fansubs. I did start using MAL a while back when I started watching a fair amount of fansubs again. I always found updating MAL pretty tedious though...but I didn't know about ...

Re: Your ISML list...
Well here's my list, the highlighted ones are the girls I don't really know. These are the characters that I'm always going to vote for, and I'll be sad when they face each other: Illyasviel von Einzbern Shana Kamio Misuzu Takamachi Nanoha Katagiri Yūhi Sawatari Makoto Ryūgū Rena Aisaka Taiga Furude...

Re: General Video Games Thread
I'm a big fan of RPGs as well, but the RPGs in my top 10 seem to be rather different ;). Maybe that's because I was introduced to RPGs at an early age with games like Ultima IV instead of Zelda. I also really enjoy turn based strategy games (which seem to be a dying genre), and space simulators. It'...

Re: What game are you playing right now?
I've recently kicked an MMO addiction so I finally have time to play single player games. I'm currently actively playing: Mount and Blade Eschalon Book 1 Da Capo (Kotori's route atm) I've also almost always got a background campaign of Europa Universalis III going on. Added to that are the other man...
