Why not we just prohibit contestants who have 3 or more necklaces from entering the necklace match of the period they have won before. Wouldn't that solve the case and give characters more chances to achieve all necklace get. For E.x Ruri cannot enter Amethyst (and Saphire if we ever use it again) ...

I want to make a side point. It's also very sad to see a character full of past glories to be smashed over and over after she stepped down as the time go by. This is a competition, a fierce one indeed. The stronger ones defeat the weaker ones, and that happens everywhere. Take Hinagiku for example....
