ISML 2010: The Video Game

Post by Momento10 » Fri Oct 08, 2010 3:57 am

i'm probably late in making this. Someone people have probably created something like this already, and their works are probably better than what I'm about to post in here, but I'm still posting this up anyway. So, to start things off here is this:
SpoilerShow
Image
Yes, everything has to start with that screen. So, you push a button, and out comes this:
SpoilerShow
Image
I think this is pretty self-explanatory: one player is for one player, multi-player is for multiple players, extra is for all of the extra stuff, and settings are for adjusting the settings. As for story more, choose your character, and you will follow her unique storyline in her road to the Heavenly Tiara. You will meet and make friends, start up heated rivalries, watch all of the drama unfold, and fight your way to the top by going through Regular Season, collecting all seven necklaces, making it to Postseason, and arriving to the Championship Round. Every decision you make is crucial to how your road will look like in the end. One Player will consist of the following:
SpoilerShow
Image
Again, the matches speak for themselves. One player is fighting against a string of opponents of increasing difficulty. Vs computer is you against a computer controlled character of your set difficulty. Team battle is fighting with a team of a maximum of four characters. Time attack is to see how quickly you can defeat a string of opponents. Survival is how long you can continue fighting until your health reaches zero. Onto multi player mode:
SpoilerShow
Image
Vs player is you against another person. Fatal 4 way is basically a max of four players can play against each other in either melee or teamed battles. Team battle is also at a maximum of four players fighting with a team of at a maximum of four characters. Tournament mode is a tournament style gameplay where you can set up how the matches are going to work, but it will be randomly generated who will face who. This mode also has a double elimination format similar to how ISML's Double Elimination is portrayed. Finally, practice mode is for practicing combos, special moves, etc. You can make up to three character "dummies." Next is the extra section:
SpoilerShow
Image
Character bio is a bio for the character. Character video is a video of the character. In exhibition match, you can choose a max of four characters to fight against each other while you sit back and enjoy the show. In camera mode, you can take pictures as the match progresses. Personal rankings is a summary of what you have done, how much have you completed story mode of a certain character, etc. Settings looks like this:
SpoilerShow
Image
Game settings is adjusting the difficulty, match stipulation, etc. Save settings is if you wish for the game to automatically save for you or if you wish to manually do so. Screenshots is a file where you look at your taken pictures and whether you want to delete them or not. Rumble is adjusting the rumble feature of the game. Sound is adjusting the volume of the game.

This pretty much covers everything. By the way, the characters in all of the screens are random pictures of every girl in the game that you unlocked. I decided to use Shana as an example and am too lazy to find pictures of more girls for each different screen. Here is a sample of what the game would look like when you play it. In case you are wondering who the girls in grey are (locked characters), they are (from left to right) Nakamura Yuri (Angel Beats!), Kotobuki Tsumugi (K-On!), Shirai Kuroko (To Aru Majutsu no Index), Tachibana Kanade (Angel Beats!), Yamada Aoi (Working!!), Amae Koromo (Saki), Yui (Angel Beats!), and Yuno (Hidamari Sketch).
Part 1 and Part 2.

Finally, in games such as these, all the girls should have a finishing maneuver. Like Super Smash Bros. Brawl, where you smash a floating logo orb, glow in an array of colors, push a button, and activate your finisher, this game will have something like that as well. If you have other ideas on what the finishers of the characters that I already wrote a finisher for, feel free to tell me about it.

Well, the action is pretty much E-rated, but winning the triple crown two years in a row unlocks a special 50-girl... party scene... that the producers didn't want cut for artistic reasons.

ARTISTIC REASONS.

Aw, come on, Amdrag, this is Saimoe. A "T" rating should be acceptable enough.

Sadly, it's still in development hell because no one's kind enough to fund this yet. :(

As for blank finishers, here's what I can provide:
SpoilerShow
Yuki - Reprogram (Deletes target of attack out of existence. Damaging if enemy is high on health, deadly for characters with low health.)
Mikuru - Mikuru Beam (An eyebeam, basically.)
Kyo - Book Barrage (Kyo throws a storm of thick hardcover books for massive damage.)
Konata - Otaku Shout Out (Konata delves into her vast otaku knowledge and materializes finishers from famous anime or games that she watches or plays.)
Isumi - Ghost Sweeper Ultimate Technique (Summons a dragon spirit to attack the enemy.)
"Rip and Tear. Rip and tear until it's done."
