[Poll] Web Browsers
I thought it might be interesting to see what web browser everyone uses and why. It might be useful to Crisu in determining the best site design (maybe). I've enabled re-voting in case anyone switches to a different web browser in the future.

Re: [Poll] Web Browsers
My current, and voted browser is IE.
My prefered browser, which I would like to return to eventually, is Firefox.

Firefox primarily. Chrome is a close second place for when Firefox is just acting stupid.

Re: [Poll] Web Browsers
Timeline (past to current; length of arrow denotes amount of use before changing):
IE -------> Firefox ----> Opera ---------------> Chrome -> Opera
Preferred (least to most): IE -> Chrome -> Firefox -> Opera
I guess I'll go ahead and identify myself as the sole Opera user here. Back when IE was a virus magnet and Firefox was starting to get bloated, Opera boasted a much smaller, lightweight profile. So I tried it and I loved it. I've been using it for years, and I love the keyword search function the most out of its available features. I have noticed every now and then a website that isn't totally compliant with current web standards, and I'll end up seeing a messed up layout in Opera, forcing me to use Firefox for that site. And while I have tried Chrome and don't have any problems with its functionality, ever since Google reworked its privacy policy, I just didn't see any reason to agree to the policy every time I used Chrome, so it's not installed on my computer anymore. Since I'm still running Windows "XP" on this computer, I do use IE for Windows Updates, but that's it.
tl;dr: So in short, Opera's my main browser, Firefox is my backup browser, and IE is solely for Windows updates.

Re: [Poll] Web Browsers
OMG what about Netscape Navigator?!
I only use IE for crap like Bing and Swagbucks so it stays off of my main browser lol
I've tried Chrome before, and it ran smooth and I appreciated the Miku theme, but it seemed kinda bare in the features/add-ons department compared to FF. Also, it's related to Google, and they're just a creepy company. FF is pretty cool when it comes to browsing privacy.

Re: [Poll] Web Browsers
I use Chrome.. but yeah it lacks the add-ons advantage of firefox.. whenever I need to download something esp. videos from youtube or other sites, I use FF.. But because of too many add-ons, the speed becomes limited, which leads me to use Chrome for browsing..
On my mobile devices, I use Opera Mini..
I dont use IE anymore and not have experienced using any other browsers besides the four I mentioned..

IE for life!
Though more than anything, I'm just used to IE. In case I need to visit more dangerous places, I'd boot up my security-addon-laden Firefox, but for daily forum browsing and the like, IE is quicker and more convenient.
