That Haruhi losss... I was expecting it. If she would've won, I would've been rocking the Trollface all over these boards cause it would've felt like she stole one. Still, I wonder if Haruhi's that good or if Giku's trailed off.

Lucky star fading..... my fantasy said so, but the results didn't.
Last order made it into the regular season, now they're not interested in her.
Rin has really fallen. Even for Haruna, I don't like the result.

Now for the good news:
Mikoto, Nagi, Charlotte (too bad for Yui), Kyou, Ruri...... and the best news (although very close) Hinagiku won!!!!!

Hinagiku, what happened? You let Haruhi get 33 votes near you? Are you losing nice chunk of strength somewhere there? Is Rin just not as strong as she used to be anymore, to be defeated be Haruna and the like? An eight vote win for Konata and a seven vote win for Kuroko. Talk about cutting it way close. I am glad to see Nagisa besting Fate once more. Pook Sayaka, indeed. Miku practically dominated over her, which is nice to see.

Well, it's rank 2 intra-rank match. No matter which way they roll, you're going to get upset people, and quite a lot of them.

The last match will be even worse.

Glad that Tsumugi finally got her first win, and against Iwasawa to boot. Yui falling to Yuri is a downer. Good job to Holo for bringing Kanade down from her %win pedestal by whittling it down to below 70% for the first time.

Taiga...what happened to your supporters? I was hoping for you to win against Kuroneko.

Yuri winning over Yui is bittersweet.
Happy that Kuroneko, Index and Konata won. Especially Konata!
It turns out matches I thought were potential upsets didn't happen, vice versa.

first my beloved nagisa, then my precious yui-nyan....who will charlotte's next victim be?

i guess IS faded almost as soon as it rose. charlotte's the only strong character left. maybe cuz the other girls were less unique and the show was just a generic harem? (sorry if i offend IS fans)

there seem to be a lot of inter-show matches this period, especially with angel beats. maybe to get them out of the way for later?

Kotobuki Tsumugi here.

Another exciting day of International Saimoe League matches has passed! I didn't know who was going to win many of the matches until the very end. Kuroko had an unfortunate string of close losses in the preliminary rounds. However, in the main tournament she's managing to get close wins of her own. Kuroko had been looking a bit down since the Index anime ended so it's good to see her try her best and get a win. It was also a good try by Mato but it wasn't enough. In another close match, Konata manages to beat Yami. Yami had been improving since the start of Aquamarine but it still wasn't enough to beat Konata. In a surprising performance, former ISML champion Hinagiku managed to beat Haruhi. Hinagiku had been taking it easy as of late but here she showed she still has a lot of life in her. I'm looking forward to seeing Hinagiku's future matches. Last round I said I hoped Charlotte did better in her next match and she did. In another close match, Charlotte manages to win a very important match against Yui-nyan. I really thought Yui-nyan would win but she wasn't able to pull it off. Yui-nyan had been looking to try and make the Necklace Showdown but her loss here means she probably won't make it. Don't worry, Yui-nyan you can try again next period! As always, everyone's eyes were on Kanade to see what she would do next and she nearly managed 70% on Holo. It's always amazing to watch Kanade work. With everyone trying so hard, I wanted to join in and give my very best in my match as well. I was up against a fellow musician Iwasawa Asami who had this cool aura around her. In the end, I finally managed to get my first win! Thanks for the great match Iwasawa!

Until next time.

Today's result: 10 wins, a kind of crap.
Only these matches are 'anyone winning is OK':
Kirino vs Azusa
Charlotte vs Yui

Prepare for another unholy battle.
Until next match.

Some results are really exciting. Though I know I didn't do very well in the fantasy, the win for Charlotte really makes me excited. I thought Yui nyaa might be more likely to win over Charlotte but Charlotte claimed that she shall never be underestimate.
I never thought that Kuroko would be able to win over Mato, and now I shall pay for my haste and underestimate on her.
The only frustrating result to me is Laura and Fate still can not get a win. Expecially Laura, I have a strong premonition that she may even lose to Iwasawa in the next round. If it comes true, Laura will get an awful period record without a win and she was judge to be a Tier 5 in the very beginning. Oh, please...Pray for her.

Wow.. only 9 matches even breeched 1000 vote difference and several of them didn't even get into three digits. Doesn't it say something when the exib match has a larger vote difference than any of the actual arenas O.O

Really didn't think Hinagiku had actually lost that much power, even Fate managed to pull out a larger difference in votes, though on the opposite side of the bar. Nagi should feel accomplished for being able to garner more votes than the student president.

Mugi over Iwasawa I don't like, especially because it was further distant that Hina-tan's win.

The closest to a big win was Tenshi over Horo, showing that the nicknamed messenger has more power than a harvest goddess, but even there had a decent showing from both sides.

It was a total surprise to see Mato lose to Kuroko and I also didn't expect such a great VD between Ayase and Last Order (poor Last Order - you're so much better than Ayase - not to say much more moe...).

I knew Konata vs Yami and Hinagiku vs Haruhi could go either way but I was actually betting on the losers in both of this matches. But they ended up being pretty close...

As for the other results: I didn't like them but they were expected so it's not that much of a deal.
