We need someone from one of the fansub groups that can translate back to Japanese. Since we have so many other languages represented, I don't image it would matter which language they decided to start the translation from. They could do a Korean to Japanese translation, or a Chinese to Japanese translation...or any of the other languages if there are no English to Japanese translators willing to help.

A true "international" competition would definitely need more Japan as it is the place anime originated from.

The other reason is many feel Japan's participation will help right all the "fail" in the results

Hey, I've been BEGGING for a Japanese translator for about 15 months... in vain.

I should warn people that the information posted also counts the multi-votes that may or may have not been eliminated, hence these results are not as accurate as they seem. Do recall that we did put a section of China on probation.

Also KS mentioned a high end vote total of "legal" votes at somewhere just over 3,000, not 20,000 represented here.

This is unique pageviews to the 'thank you' page for the whole of aquamarine before vote checking. KS was mentioning legal votes after vote checking for a specific round in aquamarine...
