- Either that was an epic upset for Nymph, or Clannad has really lost alot of power. 3-0 to start the season.
- I knew TLR was stronger with more challengers representing..... but Momo beating Suguha to go 3-0 was totally unexpected
- Mikan also made sure she won her first match, but with her pending match against Suguha next, could she try and match Momo's win?
- Doesn't matter the opponent, as long as Hinagiku gets a win.
- Looks like Kyou will have to wait a bit longer to get that 200th win. 28 votes, Sooooooo close.

Momo beating Suguha?
Nymph beating Tomoyo?

These two are enough to give me a whole day's worth of shock...
In comparison, Nagisa beating Kyou was actually not that devastating...

I don't know what's going on with Suguha's voters. Either she's getting antivoted out the wazoo, or something else is afoot but I am super surprised she lost to Momo.

keep in mind that the SAO fanbase never really backed their characters apart from Asuna and Yui after they made it into regular season. They performed quite poorly during seedings as well

After a weak initial start, Misaka has been looking better as the tournament goes on. Maybe Railgun season 2 really is going to help her after all. However, she's still a long way from Kanade and Misaka wins the Tiara she would also be a repeat winner. Last Order also ends up doing well on C.C..

Tohsaka Rin seems to be intent on following a path downward in the rankings. I wonder how far down she'll go.

Asuna has another same series match which continues to hide any potential weakness. However, Yui (SAO) and Suguha don't do very well in their matches. Unless they turn things around, the SAO characters aren't going to be the powerhouses they initially seemed like they would be.

Ayase nearly manages off Nagato Yuki. My expectations for Ayase are already pretty high but she's still able to beat them even if only by a little. Just how high is Ayase planning to go?

Kuroyukihime, Mashiro, Rikka, Asuna and Kobato are all pretty close together in my stats right now and at the top of Nova. It might be a pretty good competition for first place in Nova if this holds. However, only being as good as Kobato means the top of Nova doesn't look to good relative to Stella. We'll have to wait for the Necklace showdown to get an idea of how things really stand.
A miracle that you believe in when you know it won't happen......... is hope.

Eru: "I did win, but maybe my curiosity did take me a little too far..." *uneasy laughter*
YES! YES! YES!:
- Finally, a win from Hinagiku.
- Azusa winning over Haruhi.
- Rikka winning over Touka. (Instead of the other way around.)
- Kobato winning over Nanami.
- Sena winning over Ririchiyo.
- Momo winning over Suguha.

NO! NO! NO!:
Image
- Eru handing Nyaruko her first loss. (Well, expecting Nyaruko to win over Eru may be asking for too much. But I'll take comfort in the fact that win or lose, Nyaruko will always drain the SAN Points out of her opponent/s.)
- Kud getting curbstomped by Mashiro. *sigh* The poor little pup needs a hug after getting kicked like that.
- Nadeko losing to Taiga.
- Yui Kotegawa losing to Rin Natsume.

Bittersweet results (sort of):
- Mikan winning at the cost of Homura. (Will Mikan get the chance to make up for all that lost time failing to enter ISML in the previous years?)
- Mio winning at the cost of Charlotte.

The Aquamarine color goes well with Nymph's blue hair and white outfit... ;)

...But topping Yui might be a too tall an order.

Without spoiling too much, Voluem 10 of oreimo is Ayase's home field. Her peak of popularity has yet to come.

Suguha is probably getting anti votes from SAO fans.
She isn't very well liked by a lot of people.

Will that be covered in time by the second season of the anime?

Chapter 8 will be Ruri's stage.
Chapter 10 will be Ayase's stage.
Both will be covered so don't worry.

Checking Total votes from round 2 vs. Round 3 9,500 vs. 8,400, maybe it's not SAO antivoting Suguha, although enough voters not voting for Suguha this round ends up counting the same.

As for Ayase..... Had I watched ep2 before voting in Yuki/Ayase's match, I might have considered voting for Ayase. (That's a scary thought. Tsundere >>>>>>>>Yandere)

Thank you dear. I'm not exactly an Ayase fan (though Episode 2 was fun), but I'm interested in what that chapter/episode entails...

Nagisa won and even worse, Tsukihi was denied her first victory in a close match. Time to go cry in a corner. But I'm thinking this is year of the Numph.

Poor Tsukihi, she has very little chance of winning her next match too. I feel so sorry for you Durian. Hoping for a Kurisu win here, but I'm not going to get my hopes up
