Seeing how Yukina won again made me feel like Madoka really missed out due to unlucky match up in Prelim III.

I hope Masami won't end up as 2013 Hirasawa Ui.

YES! YES! YES!:
- Kurumi winning over Touka Takanashi. (Bon apetit!)
- Mikan winning over Misaki.
- Eleanor/Elina winning over Kenshin (not that one).

MERDE! MERDE! MERDE!:
- Nyaruko losing to Yaya.
- Kud losing to Charlotte.
- Mashiro winning over Mio.

As expected:
- Asuna winning over Yui.

Unexpected:
- Laura winning over Furano. (Wow.)

Bittersweet:
- Kuroneko winning at the cost of Azu-nyan.

Next matches:
- Crap, looks like I'm skipping the exhibition matches. (I only know of Sakura Trick as "that yuri anime" and Log Horizon as having a similar premise to SAO, but other than those, that's it.)

Kanade is not lost a step since last year. A huge win over Kobato shows that we're in for another year of Kanade dominance. Kuroneko on the other hand seems to have fallen back to her pre-2013 level of power. Kuroneko and Mashiro have similar results against Mio and Azusa. Mio and Azusa have typically been close in strength which means Kuroneko is unlikely to be significantly stronger than Mashiro. That's quite a fall from where she used to be and means Kanade is back to being alone at the top. Along with Kuroneko, Ayase isn't looking as good as she used to. However, part of that may be due to Haruhi looking better now that we're in the regular season. Yuki did quite well as well. Kurumi looks pretty good. She's probably in good shape to take first in Nova especially with Date A Live season 2 going on. She can probably hold her own against the non-Kanade Stella top tiers. However, she still looks far from being as strong as Kanade. Kanade isn't invincible. She can be beaten but it's going to take a lot of work for someone to rise to her level. As long as Kanade avoids sniping by railgun, a second championship may not be out of the question.
A miracle that you believe in when you know it won't happen......... is hope.

-DaL still, only Origami lose. But I see that they will have problem if their match up is Nova 1st tier.
-Okay, most of us are simply underestimated Yukina a lot here.

After 2 match day,
-Last year 1st tier still remain strong, both Nova and Stella, unless some unlucky appear like Kuroneko vs Palmtop Tiger at Day 1.
-DaL spirits doing pretty well, getting 4 of the Top 10 stop.

Yoshino managed to beat Chitanda! :D
Great job there, Kotori!
Kurousagi defeated Momo!

Oh wow, the characters who are on my list to be put in The No Wins Club actually get a win. (Laura Bodewig, Charlotte Belew, Hinagiku, Himeragi Yukina, Misaki @_@)
It seems that Saber is still too early to beat Shana.

It's also impressive how Nanami still able to beat Shinka even though Chuu2Koi S2 was just airing last season.

Laura wins! Nothing else matters!!!

I'm wondering if she got a same seiyuu boost from DaL's Tohka.... but then again, Yozora didn't win her match... Which means... Laura won on her own merit!! :D

If not counting results with over 1k difference since most of them were extremely expected wins,
Nova's results are awful except for arena 18;
Stella's results are mostly ok.

But seriously, nova... It's even worse than I feared, what a sad sad joke. So there's no one among the 2014 contestants who can beat the 4 main DAL characters? sigh...

btw, I like the beginning of the 2014 PV

Surprise for Laura first won after 2 years of participate ! My prediction for no win club fail.

Btw, how can Kirino won against Kurisu now, she still have power at this rate?
