Re: RESULTS: 2015 Aquamarine 4
Maki lost means LL! is just too weak in the competition, unless there's a 9v9 match out there.
Shane lost means the old generation is really fading away and 2015 is the time for the new generation. Even with new material, Haruhi and Yuki still can't stand their group.
Maybe 8 years is the limit for a character to survive in top tier.

There were several matches where even though my picks didn't win I was really OK with either contestant winning, so it really didn't matter for those. So I guess most of the results I'm OK with. Well maybe except my namesake losing in the male division to Otonashi-kun. Oh and Nico & Terminus Est & Azu-nyan losing. Seriously WTF with those three not doing so well?

Shana's got her fair share of necklaces and postseason attendance, with this win, Kurisu has a chance to actually show up in a necklace round for the first time as an actual necklace contestant, and she has a good shot for postseason!Kurogarasu wrote:Shana losing is absolute bullshit, as much as I like makise. Really surprise with Kurisu > Shana. Don't expected her to be that high. But now I can hope for some real necklace.
LL is much weaker than expected. Maybe I over-expected for idol anime in ISML.

Re: RESULTS: 2015 Aquamarine 4
My my my, that's a huge blow to Maki. Facing her first decent non-LL opponent, she fell hard. Not only that, but with the possible exception of Kotori, all other LL characters were abysmal today. On the other hand, the fight for top in Nova is getting intense, both Shiro and Yukino tortured their opponents by doubling with margin to spare.
Today is not a good day for flaming lolis. Kotori did manage to beat Shinobu, which would be a huge surprise if she didn't, but the margin was not as great as anticipated. Shana losing to Kurisu was seen coming, but a VD of 800 was not. Sans Saber who is getting help from Fate series, all 8-year veterans were below par in terms of today's performance.
We have intra-tier 2 match in Male, but none was too exciting. Toma beating Ryuji was expected. Keima didn't give Yuzuru any scare as thought he might be able to. Koyomi was too much for Seiya. Maybe it's more exciting to see Hachiman score 70% over the weakest in Male Division.

Re: RESULTS: 2015 Aquamarine 4
Majority of the voters are male though, it seems like for the most part, people are voting for the male characters who so happen to be in the same anime as their waifu. See Sora from NGNL, Hikigaya and so on. Guys with no female characters in regular season of the same anime like durarara, shingeki no kyojin and death note are doing terribly despite their anime being relatively well known.WoodyMC wrote:Rintarou appearance on male ?Kurogarasu wrote:That's true. So I don't see how Rintarou's appearance would boost Makise's performance.
