I have recently come across a couple of posts that claim to have a single person voting more than once using different devices and/or connection method. This is a blatant violation of one person one vote rule. Please warn those people that by doing so, not only will both of their votes become invalid, we will become very suspicious of other votes that resemble these multivotes. If enough of such case is found, we will have no choice but consider vote cluster that closely resemble the known multivotes to also be multivotes, unless extraordinary evidence that proves their innocence can be found.
If you are a forum moderator, a blog owner, or someone of position in any website, please discourage people from voting multiple times. Failure to do so will harm everyone, and if I see any instance of multivoting posted anywhere in the website, I have no choice but become extremely skeptical of the validity of any votes posted on the website.
