RESULTS: 2010 Sapphire 2

A tall, towering wall looms in front of me. Beyond that is something that I could never to see on my own.
And that is...the view from the top.

It's only a surprise if a favorite did not win her match.

Great, the last thing I need to see is a Kyoani powerup. Already annoyed enough with the JC Staff tyranny.

Re: RESULTS: 2010 Sapphire 2
Nothing really to write home about here. Azusa made easy work of Nadeko, but I thought that match would be a little closer. What's this with Mikuru coming that close to Fate? I'm not a Fate fan, but even I would be raging a little if Mikuru had 90-some more votes.

Rin won as expected but that was closer than expected. The way K-on was going, I was sure Yui would of beaten Kyou as well. Fortunately, that didn't happen.sirwence wrote:Go Saber \( ゚∀゚)/ And glad to see Rin and Fate pull off some .. rather close matches And K-ON gets more powerful :s
I guess even Koromo was unable to get a victory.

Re: RESULTS: 2010 Sapphire 2
Well Kyou was the top nominated girl from 2008 and aside from Tomoyo, one of the most dangerous (Tomoyo was the surprise package, Kyou was the expected one). Also Kyou had the last episode of Clannad...mostly to herself (her and Ryou). That Yui almost took Kyou means Yui's gotten popular, though not quite top 8 yet.
Nagisa took Ui fairly well.
Is Mikuru making a comeback or is Fate not as strong as before?

Re: RESULTS: 2010 Sapphire 2
Yui lost to Kyou? It's been a while since I thought a K-On character was the favorite going into a match and they fail to pull through. Yui's failure doesn't seem to have rubbed off on Mio, though. Saten got killed out there. Other characters that did surprisingly well were Haruhi, Ryou, Konata, and Mei. Actually, pretty much all the Kyoani characters met expectations or better. The two big exceptions are Ui and Yui who fought KyoAni themselves. Fuuko's performance was also a bit on the weak side. There were some non-Kyoani characters that put up a good performance. Saber bounced back from her lackluster Sapphire 1 match. Sanzen'in Nagi also looked quite good out there. It's hard to say which characters took a fall in Sapphire 2 since the underperformances tended to be against Kyoani characters who probably boosted. Minori, Ami and Taiga all fell a bit short of expectations. Toradora is only getting older from here but let's see if they can still bounce back. It's a bit depressing to see Koromo lose to Amu. Koromo is probably the strongest Saki character and Amu isn't that strong. This was a good chance for Saki to get a win but it didn't come through.
A miracle that you believe in when you know it won't happen......... is hope.

Blood moon!
Who is killing the Sakis?
Thanks to the 1744 votes anyway.
But is 1744(47.66%) their limit?
Can they survive in the incoming season?

YES. Amu <333
Really glad about it, even if it was a little close. Even so, yay for cool&spicy! ~
;__; Still wishing that Minorin will do a little better, but she's doing her best.

WAY too close for comfort there; expected Kyou vs Yui to be close, but not THAT close! Overall really pleased with this round's results, wins for my favourites is nice to see!
