Mio will win, I honestly don't care who wins since neither are my favorites

I think that this will be a test for Mio to see how much she can defeat Mikoto by... a big margin of victory will definitely help her in Ruby against Azusa and Taiga which would absolutely be key in her match for all the marbles against Hina in Diamond 7. :D

Agreed on that, Demi-chan! Just wait for Sunday! THIS IS THE MAIN EVENT! THE SHOWSTOPPER! OH YEAH!
I would suggest putting all your WWE quotes in your signature instead of attaching it onto all your sentences. Whether John Cena, Randy Orton or Shawn Michaels are anime fans or not does not concern me but after so many posts it does kind of irritate.

As for the thread topic as to who will win, Mio would be an obvious choice to win the match basing on overall performance so far. Of course, I'm expecting stiff resistance on Mikoto's part but not till the level of Mio vs Shana's match.
OH! SORRY! I forgot how to put it as signature...(darn it...)

It sure would be nice for some surprise Index/Railgun OVA's to appear in the next few days and for K-On to be canceled for a week, or a worldly celebrity to public proclaim his or her support for Misaka on ISML, but sadly, anything short of hypothetical scenarios probably won't be able to cut it.

It bums me out, especially since Mikoto's surprised us all by becoming an unexpected powerhouse this season, but Mio's 95% got this. Still, that won't stop me from voting Mikoto, and gathering as many friends as I can to do the same.

Mio will make a heel turn and stomp that jobber Misaka. It won't even take 10 seconds before Misaka taps out to Mio's beautiful RKO. When the bell rings, it'll be Mio doing an Orton Pose in front of a shocked crowd and declaring that this year the championship belt tiara will be hers.

I think Mio to win and although it really doesn't matter to me who wins I'd prefer Mio to win (I don't think that made sense)

While I don't like Mikoto's chances of winning, a blowout by Mio? I don't "C" (see) that happening. She was close against Hina and Shana. Mio is much tougher, but Mikoto is not an easy out (at least I don't believe it).

I'm just screwing around. It won't be a huge blowout or anything like that.

hinakatbklyn wrote:I have 2 different answers as far as who is going to win and who I want to win. Mio is still unbeaten and I think she will stay that way for now, even against Mikoto.

My first instincts tell me don't pick one top 3 favorite over another top 3 favorite. However, if Mikoto gets to Emerald 7 and beating Mio means an Emerald necklace, even if her chances are better in Ruby, I would vote Mikoto and have her go after the necklace right now. It doesn't hurt that Mikoto can get even with Mio for Aquamarine.
I agree that Mio will win this one, but I'm sure Mikoto will make it a close one like her other higher profile matches. Actually, Mikoto's relatively solid performance has surprised me. Before the regular season started, I never would have imagined she'd stay consistently within the top 5 for most of the season, as I was afraid that she would have been overshadowed by some of the newcomers and the really strong veterans. So, I'm glad she's done so well thus far.
And yes, I would be overjoyed if Mikoto won a necklace sooner rather than later. Of course, a tiara would be even sweeter.

ROUND 7 Emerald is all about Mio vs. Misaka...as of ROUND 5 Emerald, Misaka retains her #1 Emerald spot and Mio regains her overall #1 spot in the stats page! This is an EPIC MAIN EVENT! #1 Overall vs. #1 Emerald! This is a SHOWSTOPPER!

Meh, I don't really care who's gonna win since neither both of 'em are my favorite. Well, I'm looking forward to see Hinagiku against Mio in Diamond. Heh~
