My conspiracy sensor tells me something is wrong with Rin winning Ui by only about 300.

Otherwise, results fully expected, including the part where Kagami rapes her own sister.

K-ON is just vastly overrated. And people vote her because she's from K-ON. That is all.Although Ui's vote total is pretty ridiculous considering who she was up against.

Clannad is starting to underperform a bit. It was noticable the previous match, and todays match doesn't do much to change that feeling.

Ui is more popular than some of the K-On main characters (Ritsu and Tsumugi). She does have an actual fanbase outside of people who vote for her just because she's from K-On. 4 out of the 8 Clannad characters were against each other. I don't think they had much of a chance to show if they are on the rise or falling.

Without a doubt Ui looked really good against Rin. For those hoping for Fate to beat Rin in Emerald 7, a Rin underperformance like this looks good. Shana also put up a nice performance on Mikuru. As of late, Shana has been trying to get the top spot in my stats back from Mio. Shana is actually starting to get pretty close. The SFF matches in Emerald 5 were pretty nasty. Tsukasa just got murdered out there. Mei and Kotomi also too sizable hits. Unlike against Shana and Taiga, Louise managed to hold up against Nagi. Nagi beat expectations but it wasn't by enough that it couldn't be natural variation.

I look at it as Ritsu and Mugi being abandoned from even their own series fanbase. Ui is different, since she isn't someone you will dislike considering she never does anything annoying...But, she's still just a side character with little to nothing to remember her by. She receives few hate votes and a whole lot of series support votes; whether it be from rabid fans or just people who don't know the other character. All matchups with K-ON characters receive a ton of votes, even Ui's match did - breaking 4,200 votes - I doubt it was Rin who pulled in all those extra votes.

lol to me, that is the only thing that explains Ui's performance.

As for Clannad. Well, it was more noticeable the previous match. But of the Clannad today who did not face each other, they didn't look up to par. I guess Ushio did fine, all things considered.

Nice results for Round 5 Emerald...and I just heard some MIXED REACTIONS today about this post...let me tell you this: What happened, IT REALLY HAPPENED! The damage has been done, and now we have to continue it by voting some moe!

Anyway, Mio at #1 and Hina dropped to #2...hmm...this issue may be acceptable or controversial for all of you...but for me...I accept what happened, and nothing more...LOVE THE RESULTS!

I'm excited that Ui came so close to winning against Rin. Maybe she'll do better in future matches?
Also happy that Fate and Saber won. Sad the Nanoha lost but Nagisa is awesome too.
