Necklace is most likely going to be between Taiga and Mio since the others have crappy SDO.

Shana's still in. Because of that, Haruhi actually has a decent chance.

Azusa losing must be the result of some faction manipulation. I'm pretty sure within the K-On fandom Azusa is already above Mio. =(

Mikoto vs Shana is also closer than I expected.

Shana's in because of her win/loss advantage over the others. I thought Mikoto winning would have kept her out. 34 votes is not bad. It's around the same last DE when Mikoto went to the finals.

Funny is SDO
Taiga - 69
Haruhi - 51
Shana - 45
Mio - 57
Azusa - 51
Hinagiku - 45
Eucliwood - 54
Yuri - 54

Azusa and Mio are champions in their own right.

Mio beat Azusa? Not good. Looks like I'll be pulling for Azusa to win Ruby or Diamond. I think Taiga will win Emerald.
Best results though... Mikoto keeps her unbeaten record, barely over Shana.

Awesome: Mikoto winning against Shana
Not awesome: Holo losing to Louise

Ditto Kordosa. Holo and Louise have their series at roughly the same time so it's pretty surprising to me why she lost, it's not like Louise is a fresher face.

Shana fans can support Taiga now as she is the only one with SDO above 65 besides Mikoto.
Shana for Ruby necklace.
Holo should have won.

Louise gets Kugimiya factor. Holo doesn't.

Well, I noticed that Holo did manage to pull something off that not even Kanade was able to do - beat Nagato Yuki in Russia.

I don't think the Kugyu factor has as much weight with Louise. Compare Louise's final rankings for ISML 2008-2010 vs. Holo's. And now look at the current overall standings. Louise's level is more or less stable while Holo's has taken a nosedive.

You have to keep in mind though that for this match, we have more Kugyu fans voting than usual (due to Shana vs Mikoto - there are still many people out there who just want Shana to win, rather than the whole "Shana needs Ruby and nothing else" crap). It may also be the same reason why Mafuyu lost to Ui (more K-on fans for the Mio vs Azusa match).

It was such a close match, but Hikari manages to obtain enough hearts to win the match. Ai, you tried hard.

Back to the actual results. With Mio beating Azusa, which I did not expect, Taiga now has a decent chance for a lock on Emerald. Mio is her only contender at 12 counts away, which I do not think will be enough. Mikoto beats Shana and around the same vote count from Loser 6. A close match indeed. Surprised Kyou did not pull a big one on Nagisa. I guess they are still friends in the end. The space between Yuki and Eu was closer than I expected. Still sad to see Holo losing once more.

You some times see these events where people line up to play against a pro player to try and be the first one to beat them. Most of the people who line up a beaten easily but sometimes someone who is just as good as the pro shows up. Shana wasn't quite able to beat Mikoto as Mikoto extends her streak to 35. Taiga also had problems for being at the top. As the highest ranking player after 6 rounds who was eligible for the bonus round, she was targeted to try and knock her off the top spot. Even with help, Lingyin just wasn't good enough to beat Taiga. The top 7 for the period has been decided. They get a bit of time to restock on items before their final battle for the Emerald Necklace.
