I'm not the biggest fan of the Mikoto picture you've selected - the one used on the http://www.internationalsaimoe.com/contestants/ page, however, was extra spunky, and gets my vote if you decide on changing any.

Very true, but I've gotta believe that a really strong avatar will only help a character in the long run (as implied in the 1000+ to 180 match in the bonus section of the finals last year).
