A tall, towering wall looms in front of me. Beyond that is something that I could never to see on my own.
And that is...the view from the top.

My heart goes out to all those that saw their favorite girls lose, including those in the Rozen Mafia. That said,...

SUZI-FRANCHISE!!!

Assuming Haruhi gets by Taiga, Haruhi-Shana could be for the necklace outright.

Well, Taiga has been consistently second tier to the top 8 or so contenders, and she hasn't shown the breakthrough strength required to defeat the top contenders, so I don't believe it's going to happen.

You're probably right, but after the S-Nagi scare, I'm not putting any more Haruhi wins on the board before her name is bolded in white on the front page. Not even against Osaka.

BTW, while Kotomi and Holo are leading in SDO, Haruhi and Hinagiku lead the current SAO standings.

Haruhi - 81
Hinagiku - 81
Shana - 72
Yuki - 72
Kotomi - 69
Holo - 66
Suigintou - 63
Tomoyo - 63

anyways....while the first post is being fixed, my thoughts

Izumi Konata (LS) 1115 < 1492 Suzumiya Haruhi (SHnY) - perfect win
Shinku (RM) 1295 < 1388 Asahina Mikuru (SHnY) - my fantasy is ruined, my heart is happy
Nagato Yuki (SHnY) 1362 > 1277 Furukawa Nagisa (CL) - another win
Sakagami Tomoyo (CL) 1550 > 1200 Suiseiseki (RM) - utter fail
Fate Testarossa (MSLN) 1337 < 1376 Ichinose Kotomi (CL) - oh wow, didn't see this coming...oh well I voted Kotomi so this one for me is a win result
Furude Rika (HNKN) 1264 < 1360 C.C. (CG) - absolute fail
Shana (SnS) 1550 > 1272 Tōsaka Rin (FSN) - I got nothing to worry about now *phew* :)
Takamachi Nanoha (MSLN) 1111 < 1597 Katsura Hinagiku (HnG) - another win

overall this round is pretty damn awesome for me

Kotomi won, yay, that made my day, you go girl! Quite besides that, there were plenty of close matches, but I'm glad to see all my favourites winning. Also nice to see the Rozen Maidens taking a beating.

man, this was the best round ever! Shana wins, rozen maids lose, fate loses to a Violinist character, a couple of Touhou victories, man this was the best round ever!

I expected to be bummed about a few things, but damn. I couldn't have dictated better results than these. =)

Not too much in terms of massive differences in terms of margin of victory this time. For the most part, the matches that didn't go the way I expected were pretty close and had a chance of going either way. Even if it was close, Mikuru over Shinku was surprising. I would have thought if the match was close, Shinku would take the win.

I called Shana to win the necklace so Haruhi is looking pretty good to beat Shana. Even boosted, Yami and Kawashima Ami are too weak to beat Shana. This leaves Haruhi to block Shana's 9-0. The alternatives are Hinagiku beating Tomoyo and and acquring enough SDO to beat Shana or Holo beating Rin and acquring enough SDO to beat Shana. Right now Hinagiku scares me. My current projections put her SDO at only 6 less than Shana. Also Shana has been doing unusually poorly in VD so Hinagiku will win if there's a tie in SDO. Considering Hinagiku is this close because she's projected to get 12 SDO higher than I thought she would, it's possible that shenanigans are involved so I'm assuming Hinagiku will close the gap. This leaves Tomoyo vs Hinagiku as he only thing in Hinagiku's way. Hinagiku has looked absolutely amazing since Ruby started. The problem is Tomoyo ended Emerald way ahead of Hinagiku. Hinagiku's boost only puts her in range of Tomoyo. The problem is, Tomoyo has been in top form since Ruby started. She hasn't had a single bad match and that's what Hinagiku will need to win. Hinagiku winning won't prevent Haruhi from beating Shana but Hinagiku losing forces Haruhi to beat Shana so I don't get a necklace predection right.
A miracle that you believe in when you know it won't happen......... is hope.

Wow, that's a talent in itself.

Just out of curiosity, Crimson. Do you even know Fate? And by "know," I mean watched the anime she comes from?
Don't recall you ever voting for any Nanoha character, and while It's possible you could dislike every one of them, I find it pretty hard to believe.

@TRE: Even if Shana is set to win the necklace, what's the point of this faction going for a upset? Shinku and Suisei lost...Who would they aim to win the necklace? I suppose they could aim for Suigintou a second time, but I'm not even sure if they want that. I know back when all three maidens lost...they still did some tactical voting, in which resulted in Shana winning the necklace.
