Although I'd rather Shana win the necklace, I guess a Hinagiku is fine too. This Ruby necklace sure is hard-earned, another 34 votes in the other way would've changed everything.
Man, wait till Shanacon hears this.

Im actually happy, even though Shana with Ruby would've been epic, Tomoyo losing to Hinagiku is just epic win....Eater-of-All wrote: Man, wait till Shanacon hears this.
I always say I would campaign crazy for Shana on ruby 9, but in the end I kinda campaigned anti-Tomoyo more lol...I'd like to think my efforts worked

C.C. took down Nagisa!!! Oh I'm so happy I wish I could squeeze her! The only thing I was sad about was Kyou's loss. The rest was absolutely great.

Re: RESULTS - Ruby 9
Wow this round results are great!! To have Eva, Fate, Rika, Yuki, and Minori all win in the same round!! Plus a S. Nagi, Louise, Yami, and Tohsaka victory too! I like Tomoyo more than Hina but it was nice to see her getting the necklace. It would be nice if thi year no one gets more than one necklace.

Results are great. ^^
Saber, Rika, Hanyuu and Fate won!
I voted for Tomoyo but I like Hina too, so it's okay.

Re: RESULTS - Ruby 9
Hmm. Results that nearly everyone seems happy with?
*Runs to check the sky is not falling etc*
Well I'm sad that Kotomi and Tomoyo lost, but it was to oppenents that I'm happy to see win though.
And Shana didn't win the necklace, well she's already got one I suppose.

It's called bad Karma for voting a character you don't even like so Shana could win the necklace.Eisdrache wrote:So basically, we failed again in Ruby didnt we :s Last year it was Haruhi, this year Hina FUCK.
It suits Hina better anyways.

And It's kind of ironic how Yuki raped Kagami and Mikuru blasted her opponent into oblivon(is that a new record? 2359?), all while Haruhi falls to pieces.

2359 is a record of Mikuru. It was previously 2165 against Nagi. In Alice's defense, Mikuru hasn't faced Osaka yet. >_> Haruhi didn't even really do all that poorly relative to my expectation. Shana is just absurdly strong. Kagami did get killed by Yuki, though.Demi. wrote:And It's kind of ironic how Yuki raped Kagami and Mikuru blasted her opponent into oblivon(is that a new record? 2359?), all while Haruhi falls to pieces.

Have to consider that Maria, Rin and Holo have all performed better than her. Or at the very least, on par.Team Rocket Elite wrote:2359 is a record of Mikuru. It was previously 2165 against Nagi. After the loss to Taiga, it was a expected loss, but if Haruhi performed relative to Yuki, it should have been much closer. Unless Kagami has truly become "weak." It looks like Haruhi(series fans) fans went out of their way to campaign, but it shows no signs of that in the Haruhi/Shana match.
And 2359? I know few characters have topped that number. Infact, I don't think anyone has.

Re: RESULTS - Ruby 9
Haruhi has defintely fallen from where she used to be. Kagami has also been making her way down in terms of ranking but that match with Yuki was particularly bad.
I checked and 2359 actually is the record.
Top 5:
2359 - Asahina Mikuru vs Alice Carroll (Ruby 9)
2351 - Tousaka Rin vs Osaka (Emerald 8)
2307 - Shana vs Mizunashi Akari (Emerald 7)
2256 - Shana vs Patchouli Knowledge (Sapphire 4)

Re: RESULTS - Ruby 9
I don't think this number means that much. Ruby 9 has the most number of votes so far. It was mostly Mikuru's luck that she was able to fight a much weaker oponent in that round, whie most of the strongest ones weren't. It would be better to compare which character received the largest percentage of votes in a match (counting all accepted for example).Demi. wrote:And 2359? Besides, let's compare Shinku's performance vs. Kirino. She barely topped 2,000. And statistically, Alice is probably slightly stronger.
Mikuru > Alice had more voters than Fate > Kyou(and by 100 votes too)...So something went on in that arena.

Re: RESULTS - Ruby 9
Mikuru is a strong character who draw a weak opponent during a round with a really high vote total and her match in particular managed to draw a large number of votes. Drawing a weak opponent on a day with a high vote total is pure luck. Percentagewise Mikuru didn't even do all that much better than expected on Alice. Relative to the other matches on that day, Mikuru's match drew a high number of votes but not absurdly so. Shana vs Haruhi drew over 200 more votes and Nagisa vs CC draw nearly 100 more. Two strong characters in a match tend to result in higher vote totals, but it's not absolute. Vote totals have a lot of variance so even something like Kyou vs Fate being tied with Misuzu vs Minori doesn't necessarily mean anything.
Also why would anyone bother with Mikuru vs Alice? Currently there aren't any groups big enough to swing a blowout of that size. And they would have to be voting for both sides since Alice also get a pretty big vote total considering her opponent.
