Actually, we do have an explanation, at least I would think. Many of the visitors, myself included, have been having trouble with the appearance of the site, from the small problem of plain white text and the non-apparent formatting that occasionally shows up when everything doesn't load to the dreaded server error. It was happening, but then again...from Analytics, we only lost voters from Taiwan and China. Every other country seemed to have fairly normal vote totals.
