For consistency sake, a short reminder to leave all the elimination/posteason write ups in the elimination thread, but come back here when we have the Diamond necklace/scepter match

Diamond Necklace, with RailWarrior's editsShow
The Diamond Necklace has been the most esteemed out of all the necklaces, with its rarity second to none. For centuries, it had stayed a myth amongst many, with scholars and scribes reading through ancient tomes, searching for it in vain. But just as the world was ready to give up on the artifact, a temple suddenly rose into the air, and in it carried the lost item—the Diamond Necklace. Those who possessed flight flew up into the air in attempts to grab the necklace for themselves. But try as they might, they simply couldn't rise to the heights of the temple. It wasn't long before a crystalline path appeared and allowed a path to the necklace. Many raced upon the steps but they would soon be directed to the bottom. It was only the purest of hearts, whether pure good or pure evil, that could safely enter the temple. Sure enough, eight women all found that they could climb the stairs with ease, and soon all eight of them surrounded the necklace. At the top was a colorful duo who went by the names Shiro and Jibril. It had seemed to the other six that Jibril was serving Shiro as her master but could potentially backstab her if Shiro wasn't careful. But with each attempt by Jibril to assassinate her master, Shiro would just say a few magical words and all was well again. On the left corner was an orange-haired girl conversing with a plain brown-haired girl. From the conversation, it could be heard that the orange-haired woman was Asuna, the brown one Nanami. They seemed to be happily chatting away. On the right side, however, was a small conflict between a spirit and a homunculus. Apparently, the spirit kept teasing the homunculus, who responded with fits of rage and claims to destroy her once she has her Servant, at which the spirit just chuckled as she continued her actions. It was just then a cutesy orange-brown haired girl tried to mediate between the two girls. “Now, now, Kurumi-chan, Illyasviel-chan. Stop fighting with each other.'' That girl was Isshiki Iroha, who had seemed nice but really hid ulterior motives behind her actions. Finally, on the south side was a youth wearing a lab coat of sorts, almost as if she were a scientist. She was busily typing on her phone, running some calculations of the air movement and such.

Quite an interesting group of eight, one would think. I, as the Diamond Necklace itself, would say I'm happy with whoever I get.

diamond 7Show
Makise Kurisu (Steins;Gate) vs. Tokisaki Kurumi (Date A Live) vs. Isshiki Iroha (OreGairu) vs. Illyasviel von Einzbern (Fate Series) vs. Shiro (No Game No Life) vs. Aoyama Nanami (Sakura-sō no Pet na Kanojo) vs. Jibril (No Game No Life) vs. Yūki Asuna (Sword Art Online)

The Diamond Necklace has been the most esteemed out of all the necklaces, with its rarity second to none. For centuries, it had stayed a myth amongst many, with scholars and scribes reading through ancient tomes in vain, despite their best attempts. But, as just as the world was ready to give up on the artifact, a temple suddenly rose into the air and in it carried the lost item- the Diamond Necklace. Those who possessed flight flew up to the air in attempts to grab the necklace for themselves, but, try as they might, they simply couldn't rise to the heights of the temple. It wasn't long before a crystalline path displayed itself and allowed a path to the necklace. Many raced upon the steps, but they would soon be directed to the bottom. It was only the purest of heart, whether good or bad, that could safely enter the temple. Sure enough, eight women all found that they could climb the stairs with ease, and they soon surrounded the necklace. On the top was a colourful duo that went by the names Shiro and Jibril. It had seemed that Jibril was serving Shiro as her master, but could potentially backstab her if Shiro wasn't careful. But, with each attempt Jibril tried to assassinate her master, Shiro would just say the few magical words and all was well again. On the left corner was an orange-haired girl conversing with a plain, brown-haired girl. From the conversation, it could be heard that the orange-haired woman was Asuna; the brown one, Nanami, and they seemed to be happily chatting away. On the right side, however, was a small conflict between a spirit and a homunculus. Apparently, the spirit kept teasing the homunculus, who responded with fits of rage and claims to destroy her once she has her Servant, of which the Spirit just chuckled as she continued her actions. It was just then a cutesy orange-brown haired girl tried to mediate between the two girls. 'Now, now, Kurumi-chan, Illyasviel-chan, stop fighting with each other.'' That girl was Isshiki Iroha, who had seemed nice, but really hid an ulterior motive with her actions. Finally, on the south side was Kurisu, a youth wearing a lab coat of sorts, almost as if she were a scientist. She was busily typing through her phone, running some calculations of the air’s movement and such.

Quite an interesting group of eight, one would think..., but as for the Diamond Necklace itself, one ought to be happy with whoever becomes victorious.
