ISML Forum Saimoe 2015 - General Discussion

Welcome to the 5th annual ISML Forum Saimoe tournament!
Last year, 24 contestants fought bravely for the Heavenly Cookie. In the end, DarknessHid took home the delicious prize~
This year, with new faces emerging and old faces returning to the stage yet again, who will be crowned the ISML 2015: Forum Edition Champion?

Basically it's like the real ISML, the forum members will nominate other members to participate in this tournament. There are some rules you'll have to follow though if you want to turn in a nomination ballot. Please look at them first (listed below).

Uwah, I didn't realize making a speech was a thing .-. erm, okies well--

First off, a supermassive thank you to Grishie for organizing this whole shebang~♥♥ It certainly wasn't easy with all the ties and such and you did such an amazing job. Hats off for not just organizing this tourney, but also for all the gorgeous battle posters and sigs and all the other artwork too!

Huge shout-out to the 31 amazing people who competed, and also the 9 others in the playoff match! There were a lot of close matches so you should all feel super proud of how awesomely moe you are. ヾ(´⌣`)ノ It's truly beautiful to see the amazing friendships that have grown in this community, and amazing to see how truly beautiful everyone in this community is. There's much to be said for avidly campaigning for your one true love supports, yet never letting any result get in the way of being a friendly neighbourhood forumer~~ Y'all are awesome, awesome people and should be proud.♥ーo(≧∇≦o)

Of course, so much respect to everyone I fought against: Fuiji-wan, Houreki, and Toady in the group match; Smartie, Parurun, and that Khold miaowster of mine leading up to the finals; and highest kudos to none other than Upcoming 2016 Forumoe Champion Rainy~ You all fought brilliantly and really were only a few votes off beating me at every turn. I'm no maglor, but I'd say that confidence intervals would round you all up to being Forumoe champions in my eyes. (づ´˘⌣˘)づ⌣♡

I seriously wasn't expecting to get anywhere close to finals here so SO MUCH LOVE for everyone who accidentally clicked the wrong name voted for me. *snuggles everyone* Nothing brightens up a terrible swotvac quite like waking up to forumlove~ I'm actually so ridiculously honoured that you would even consider me someone worth voting for so thank you all so much! (◜｡＾ω＾｡)◜♡⌣♡⌣♡⌣♡

So yeah~ The feels are real~ Thank you to everyone who made this tournament possible: Grishie, the contestants, the voters, and also the staff and really just everyone on the forum making this the comfy, fuzzy place we've all come to know and love~ I hope you all stick around and look forward to next year's loving bloodbath that will crown Rainy Hikarin lischan *cough* Kholdy. I definitely meant Kholdy.

I feel it is also worth noting that if there were a Tournament of Champions for Forumoe, it would be called Maglor no Harem.

Voting eligibility rules:
1. If you registered for the forum on 1 September 2015 or later, you are not eligible to vote in the tournament.
2. If you have less than 50 official forum posts, you may vote in the tournament, but you must post on the match thread stating that you voted. Failure to comply with this rule will result in nullification of your vote.
3. If your post count is under 50, I will reserve the right to nullify your vote at my discretion if you do not appear to be an active member.

To nominate: Send your list of up to six members as a PM to Grish

To nominate members for the tournament please follow these rules:

• 1. The Nomination Period will last until September 14 2015, 12 pm GMT.
  2. Each eligible forum member may nominate up to six (6) eligible contestants via PM to Grish.
  3. Eligible forum members are those who have at least 50 official posts and who have registered prior to September 1st, 2015.
  4. You may nominate yourself.
  5. You may not nominate a single contestant multiple times.
  6. To avoid confusion, please use the official forum names instead of nicknames on your list (e.g.: DarknessHid, not Kuro).
  7. You may always change your list by posting a new PM. Only your last PM (with a list) will count.
  8. Invalid nominations will be discarded individually and will not void the entire ballot unless the maximum limit of six (6) is breached
  9. At the end of the Nomination Period, the contestants with the most nominations will move on to the Group Stage. The number of contestants for the group stage will be determined after the nomination period ends.
