And so, the story is over with everyone dying for not being able to either continue with the story with either death or suspicion that this could all be a hoax under the guise of the Headmaster. I believe that Homura had his thoughts about this. Had Homura confirmed those suspicions earlier, it may be possible to progress the story forward.

I think the main reason I would consider this project unsuccessful stems from decreasing interest, which could relate to my own speed of writing everything down. Having a new part appear each week might be too long for people to follow, especially when most of those times are exploration periods. Coupled with a large cast of the group not participating at all, and this project was going to have the mercy fall sooner or later.

I think one way to make a mafia style game more successful is a faster story update speed to keep the interest level of the game going and a smaller audience of people who are interested and have the time to participate in such events. Should I try to revive this style of gaming, I would keep those factors in mind as I start with my base planning phase of said project. For now, maybe it is time to move on to another experiment to see if it would fare in this type of setting or not...

WHY MOMENTO??? I'M SHOCKED. I realized this game was coming to an end since you're already planning a new project. But-t... I never expected it would just end today, end now. Oh god, I already have a killing plan in my mind, but well that's no use now...

Thanks for this project Momento, I really enjoyed it, which is very amusing every now and then. Appreciate all your hard work.

Thank you for your efforts Momento. It's a ton of work organizing and writing the stories for each interaction. I was only able to participate occasionally, but I had fun especially during the investigations figuring out the culprit. I was even beginning to lay the groundwork for what happens when I get killed. ;)

Agreed that it would probably work better if it was faster paced, up to possibly real time. Anybody who joins should have an expectation of that. It'll create a much denser workload for the dungeon master though, so I would suggest either prepping as much material beforehand, or recruit assistant DMs to write the scenarios/interactions.

Shocking news....
GG, we lost

First of all, thanks to Momento for his effort. His writing skills made this story interesting. Maybe, I should play more active, but I always try to associate myself with character. Therefore, I wasn't so cruel to "kill" someone. Then, thanks to players who stayed active till the end. It was funny, even though my chara became very arrogant (although that's part of me, too). Sorry for that.

At the end, LMSI became The Hotel California.

Some ideas for next project:
1) Less players for decreasing playtime.
2) More interactive or more frequent periods of game.

Thank you for all the work Momento! It may not have worked out but I certainly enjoyed it while it lasted.

I always looked forward to seeing who the next victim and culprit might be. Perhaps if the workload weren't as heavy, it would've been easier to progress the story.
