The Meal Thread
I love trying new things.
I love going to the grocery and hunting for ingredients on sale.
I like to combine things together to test things out instead of always settling for the same few dishes and always looking for inspiration...or copy xP
This thread is simply about what sort of food you had lately...be it eating out, cooking it yourself or being served by your mom!
August 10th brunch: today, I wanted something simple while also having a bit of meat.
So I simply added cheese-filled sausages to cream of mushroom soup.
I grilled the sausages first before slicing them into pieces while cooking the soup in a separate pot before finally combining them in the final product of my bowl, then into my tummy.
Simple, yet flavorful. 7/10

Here's a secret sandwich that very few people know about, but it tastes amazing.
Get some bananas, slice them diagonally so they're decently long and easy to place on the bread.
Get some peanut butter, honey, and almond slices. You can buy the latter at most grocery stores.
Toast the bread, lean on the crispier side since this sandwich can get a bit messy >.0
Follow this order: peanut butter, bananas, honey, almonds.
The combination of the four is divine. I've heard that some airlines even serve this for their first-class lunches.

Thai food isn't as appreciated as it should be. Went to some Thai restaurant and ate a full plate of Pad Thai in like five minutes. My family sort of looked at me funny for the remains of the time we were there

Thai food is like combining every different type of Asian cuisine together in one. It's pretty good because of that, you get a lot of variety and flavors.Eibbor82 wrote:Thai food isn't as appreciated as it should be. had dim sum near this really famous bakery/cake shop so I went there afterwards and bought 2 slices of black sesame cake.
Not as good as the standard cakes since the top layer was too sesame heavy, but it still tastes great :3

Re: The Meal Thread
a new sushi place around my neighborhood opened recently, so we had that for lunch before heading to a tournament.
Had a mix combo (California, salmon, tuna, dynamite)- decent portion for the price.
Food was alright- not bad, but not worth mentioning either.
For dinner though. Had insta noodles
Satay soup base + sliced beef + luncheon meat/spam. Was pretty good actually

Had tomyum yesterday. It's more sour compare to the usual ones since we're using lemon instead of lime. But still yummeh~
