Do you love mahjong? Do you like competition? Do you want glory, fame,

none Q: Wait, but don't I have to know how to play mahjong?
A: Not really. Just enter and click the tiles you think look cool.
Q: That's it?
A: Sure. You won't win, but
Q: But I don't just want to sit there and do nothing. How can I learn to play?
A: There are great sites out there that teach you the basics. Here's one to get started with: ReachMahjong. Alternatively, googling "how to play riichi mahjong" will get you pretty far. You can also watch Saki, though that probably won't actually help.
Q: What is this Riichi Mahjong you speak of? I thought mahjong was mahjong?
A: Riichi Mahjong is the Japanese ruleset of mahjong, which is significantly different from HongKong or GuoBiao and very different from Taiwanese. Also, if at this point you think that mahjong is that tile-matching game on smartphones or some versions of Windows Vista, then we've got a surprise for you. You can read up on Japanese Mahjong on the wiki page
Q: How are we going to be playing?
A: Our ISML forum is lucky enough to have a private Tenhou lobby that we can use for this event! Tenhou is an online Riichi Mahjong site where you can play and rank against other players. You can access our dedicated lobby using this link: http://tenhou.net/0/?L1537" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. This link and more is on our Mahjong thread (did you know this existed?).
Q: What is prizing going to be like?
A: Honestly I have no clue. As far as I know we still haven't paid the participants from last year. Unfortunately, this is really not up to me.
Q: How is seeding going to work?
A: Since we have numbers to work off from last year's tournament and the Summer Mahjong Festival, expect a basic seeding system for player with known track records. It's not set in stone yet, but expect the top 4 players from last year to be automatically seeded into the semifinals or quarterfinals, depending on how many players we have.
Q: How do we sign up?
A: This is the most important question, so I'd like to ask you to repeat that again with bigger font so people will see it.
Q: Sure.
Q: How do we sign up?
A: Great question! Please do the following if you are interested in signing up.
1. If you haven't made an account yet, go on tenhou.net/0/ and register for a Tenhou ID. (If you can't read Japanese, click the left hyperlink, click the button with 新規ID, click Yes, make a username, save the ID). This ID will expire after 180 days of no-play, so even if you had an account before you may need to register for a new one.
2. Send me (blaZofgold) a PM with your Tenhou username (not your ID). I'll add you to the roster of competitors.
3. Join our Discord channel. This is completely optional now, but when we start organizing matches it will be easier if all players are on Discord because of time zone differences. You might as well join our lively banter now! You can check out our Discord thread for more information and that invite link.
That's it for now. See you gu-
Q: Wait! When's the deadline for registration?
A: Oh, I almost forgot! Entries will close on Friday, December 1st. Expect to be playing for the whole month of December, and try to allow some time in your schedule for games.
That's finally everything. Hope you guys can all join and have fun playing mahjong!

Reverend 17.8 + 6 + 23.5 + 12 = 59.3
Semifinals 2
Eater: 62.4 + 18 + 22.6 + 12 = 115
