I was sceptical... but it was love at first episode... lol.
I didn't think I'd like it BECAUSE of the 4koma-ness of it... tis why I still haven't made it through Lucky Star, cute as Kagami may be.
K-on! just... ticks all my boxes lol. Mio is my favourite(I'm sorry...) then Mugi, then Yui, even though her voice and personality is a wonderful mix of Nagisa and Fuuko...., and Ritsu is last. It's probably a tie between Mugi and Yui actually... but anyways. Yes. Very cute. I LOVE the ed, the song and the animation. Or either on their own lol. I can understand why so many have fallen for Mio so fast. Least if she won next year I'd agree lol.

Love K-ON. Mio in person is quite boring and not very magnetic, but her gothic-lolita stage-outfit just rocks. And Yui is a moeblob in perfection.
Sad there will be only 13 episodes and KyoAni isn't well known for makeing spin ofs and serials of their series, give a fuck how popular they were

Given the pacing they seem to be doing I imagine they could do more than 13 episodes, but have the feeling they will do 13 now, see what the reaction is, and do another 13 next year. This also allows the manga to generate more material.

They seem to be animating between one and two chapters per episode. I've seen up to Chapter 11 translated so far but that is not even the whole of the first book (only 100 pages out of 120 translated)...the second only coming out recently. So I imagine they'll do one season of 13 episodes with just material from the first book of manga and if they get a favorable responce (and have time) will do the second book of manga as a second season next year.

Episode 4 was absolutely gorgeous as always. The Support for Mio is growing. She'll no doubt be a force to be reckoned with in ISML next year.

I have to admit, I found episode 3 a bit dissapearing. It has decreased little by little from episode 1 (gorgeous) to episode 3. But it is still fun-watching. I stay tuned to watch episode 4 this evening.

I do find it a little weird that Mio plays left handed bass, but right handed guitar. I think Crisu said maybe she just switches to whichever needs more dexterity [Does this mean we'll get pro bass solos from Mio in the future?], which reminds me....

- Knew a lefty that played righty guitar and said she wouldn't be able to play a lefty anything because she's used to fingering that way.
- Knew a righty that played a lefty guitar because he said it "felt more natural". I liked to think of him as an attention whoring dick, though, and I kind of laugh at him when lefty guitars are more expensive than regular ones and you don't get as many choices. But that makes me feel bad for the other lefties out there.

Now that I think about it, I guess it depends on if Mio learnt how to play the guitar before moving onto bass. Regular guitar → bass → finding out it's more comfortable playing LH bass wouldn't surprise me as much.

After hearing her singing in that seiyuu group, sphere, which also includes Kotobuki Minako [voice of Mugi], I feel like she can't sing. "Happy!? Sorry!!" doesn't change my mind. I definitely dig Hikasa Yoko's vocals more. "Sweet Bitter Beauty Song" actually helped with that.

K-ON!'s OP and ED feels like Kannagi for me;

TV size makes them fun enjoyable for the most part.
I get bored listening to the full size. Cue both Kannagi and K-ON! ED.
Boring without the visuals. Derp, K-ON! ED and Kannagi OP.
Toyosaki Aki and Tomatsu Haruka both can't really sing, though it's harder to tell with Toyosaki as I've only heard maybe four songs with her singing in it and it's difficult to tell who is who sometimes when listening to sphere.
Protip: Tomatsu Haruka has even said that she doesn't enjoy singing.
Protip2: Tomacchan is also in sphere, which leaves me wondering why I downloaded Hatsukoi Limited's OP single. At least Takagaki Ayahi doesn't seem that bad.

If I go on any further, I'll just end up ranting about seiyuu ~~like when I explode when people talk about Mizuki Nana/Hirano Aya~~. I mean Kugimiya Rie, Sato Rina, Kawasumi Ayako and Ito Shizuka have cute voices, but their singing is something I'd rather not think about.

Maybe I'm just not the type of person who can go "Oh, their voice is so 'moe', so their singing is, too!". Then again, the only person whose voice can do that to me can actually sing decently.
