Tsundere - When I saw this trait, first thought was of Sometimes, especially for the Katsura sisters, as well as Bittersweet.
Tennen - First thought was of Temari (Naruto), but that's tessen, iron fan.
Guessing celestial maiden was the term you were meaning though, but no one used it.
Trying to think of someone else, but the only girl who comes to mind is Tenshi near the end of Angel Beats.

superunature wrote:What anime (or scenes from an anime) that would best fit the following genre or/terms, or the first to come in mind.
Humor - Hayate no Gotoku, Marchen Awakens Romance (Since url tag doesn't work for this title: http://myanimelist.net/anime/738/M" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;ÄR)
Romance - Spice & Wolf - It's listed as such, but it's the Economics that drew me into it (probably will finish watching II when I finish my watch list.. which keeps growing longer >.<)
Action/Character Development/Relationships - One Piece/Bleach, Fairy Tale was begining to get on this list as well. Followed these anime until they broke rank/I had to take an unscheduled stop and just haven't returned to watching it. Character Development and Relationships is what drew me to them
Plot Line/story - Yozakura Quartet - Very deep story, if you choose to read it, not quite as psychological as below.
Artwork/Slice of Life - Tamayura: Hitotose and Morita-san wa Mukuchi
Ecchi - Asu no Yoichi, unless you want something that's more than just labled 'Ecchi' like everything seems to be today if it has large chested girls -_-
Psychological/Mystery - If Un-Go had run longer, it'd probably be the lead in this catagory. As it stands though, Detective Conan/Case Closed leads this one (and that's only the first season ~ that I've seen dubbed+the fanfiction I've read). ChäoS;HEAd is more the psychological aspect (and Steins;Gate is an alternative setting?). Witch Hunter Robin, Shinigami no Ballad (Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? Done realistically), Deadman Wonderland, Bus Gamer
Music-Driven - [email protected]

Not of your listed catagories, but need to mention:
Martial Arts - Katanagatari
Sci-Fi - Birdy the Mighty, all of the different itinerations
Space Driven - Cowboy Bebop and Outlaw Star

Edit: Looked over MAL list and added a few names

1. Humor - Kare Kano
Man, I loved this series that I watched it over and over again. However, in some parts of the episodes I watched, it wasn't subbed all the way so I was sad T-T But I loved the character chemistry between the two main characters. Wonderful <3
SpoilerShow
Image
2. Romance - Kimi ni Todoke
I loved Kazehaya and Sawako together. Their love was so cute, and though the 2nd season was full of "OHMYGOD" misunderstandings over and over again, I'm happy that at least the ending was semi-satisfactory.
SpoilerShow
Image
3.Action - Fairy Tail
I love watching this. It's another one of those long shounen animes, but there's a lot of comedy mixed into it as well, and it isn't that dark x3
SpoilerShow
Image
4. Character relationship - Clannad
I swear, nothing can beat Clannad when it comes to understanding the complexity of the emotions between people and their relationships with one another.
SpoilerShow

5. Plot line/Story - Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo
This movie was so brilliant. I loved it loved it loved it, and I almost cried at the end T-T It really teaches you something.

1 - Humor : Pani Poni Dash
2 - Romance : Episode 25 of Toradora, when Ryuuji kissed Taiga. Best romantic scene in anime for me.
3 - Action : Gundam metaseries, basicly the WHOLE FRANCHISE.
4 - Character development : Shakugan no Shana. Look at how Shana, Yuuji, Keisaku and most of the characters were developed from S1 to now.
5 - Character relationship : Hayate no Gotoku . Its funny.
6 - Plotline/story : To Aru Majutsu no Index. The story from S1 to S2 were done nicely, in accordance to the light novel.
7 - Fantasy : Haruhi franchise and MadoxMagi
8 - Ecchi : Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou ( and countless other harem, gutter trash animes )
9 - Psychological : Elfen Lied
10- Slice of Life : OreImo

Week 6Show
1. Humor - WORKING!!
2. Romance - Amagami SS
3. Action - The Gundam metaseries.
4. Character Development - Clannad - Tomoya Okazaki
- He goes from slacker without a purpose to a person who values the relationships with those around him.
5. Character Relationship - Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai - Yozora Mikazuki and Sena Kashiwazaki.
- I guess I just love the banter between Yozora and NikuSena. And Sena does consider Yozora to be a friend.
6. Plot Line/Story - Puella Magi Madoka Magica
- An...interesting take on the magical girl genre.
7. Fantasy - The Vision of Escaflowne
8. Artwork - Hanasaku Iroha
- Exquisitely drawn backgrounds and attention to detail provide an excellent backdrop to this show's slice-of-life drama.
9. Slice of Life - K-On!
10. BGM - The Macross series.
- Especially when Yoko Kanno is onboard.
11. Satire - Sayonara, Zetsubou-sensei
12. Ecchi - High School DxD
13. Horror - Majority of Junji Ito's works.
- The only notable exception is his Cat Diary.
14. Drama - Angel Beats
- Sure, there's a bit of comedy here and there, but once you get to the characters' backstories...
15. Psychological - *sigh* Mirai Nikki
"Rip and Tear. Rip and tear until it's done."
