Tsundere - Like, Dislike, Why?

Taiga was like that at the beggining but she developed a lot during the story... that's what Anime's Louise lacked.

@Seishi: I can't help it, I look at characters likability as how much I would want to be with them, and violent tsunderes are at the bottom of my list, no matter how cute their appearance is. Especially when they're both condescending AND violent. It drives me nuts watching the protagonist take the abuse so willingly.

3 out of 4 of my favourite characters are Tsundere. And people think I'm a Tsundere in RL too 8D Hoho~ Especially my boyfriend thinks. XD

Actually my favourite type of Tsundere is arrogant, noble types like Louise de la Valliére. And that's why she's my favourite chara.

I generally just like any cute anime girl, but It just so happens that a good majority of my favorite characters happen to be tsuderes.
I have no idea why, but I have a strong fondness for that personality arc xD

I generally dislike Tsunderes for whatever reason you want to put in... Just. Not. My. Type.
Most of the time they end up annoying me, especially popular KugiRie Tsunderes like Louise, Taiga, or Shana :/

S. Nagi is so-so okay though.

When I end up liking a Tsundere character, it's not because of their tsundere quality but for something else.

I find that I like Tsunderes, but that's not the factor that attracts them to me. For Hinagiku for instance it was her willingness to sacrifice herself for others who she might not care for.
In that, the tsundere is rather an incidental part of their character that I like.

Anyway, The reason I love is they are different from yandere or nice girl type....
Yandere is too obsessive which is too annoying,
Nice Girl type is too, girly which doesn't suit my taste....
While Tsundere is a good one even if you have to endure dozens of beatings or explosions.....

I intensely dislike tsunderes, mostly because I can't stand to see the poor object of their affections being assailed by flying fists and objects surrounding said tsundere simply for being their love interest.

They seem inherantly selfish.

I don't like tsundere violence but I do like teasing tsunderes. I like their 'in denial' reactions. It is up to the guy to bring the greatest reactions though. This usually happens when the guy finds a way (accidental or planned) to reveal the tsundere's love for him while making the tsundere battle with herself. In the end, the guy kisses her to cool of all the steam and the tsundere falls of her feet with the kiss proving her love louder than a thousand words.

I like tsunderes to an extent. Sometimes, it can just get over-the-top and can get on my nerves, which just totally makes me dislike the characters. For example, I just really couldn't stand to watch Louise and Taiga after awhile. I loved Toradora! but Taiga really turned me off after awhile.

My default position to any and all tsunderes would be dislike - it annoys me the amount of crap that the male takes. Having said that, Kagami, Misaka and Victorique are amongst my favourite characters, so it seems I like the merely grumpy tsunderes.

Yes because they are too fun to deal with, I would enjoy being in the MC's shoes when hanging out with a Tsundere character.

It kind of depends. Tsunderes tend to lead to really heartwarming scenes when they go deredere, which I like a lot, but some of them just don't ever get that far, or something goes wrong with their development or something.
