With Kurumi's assistance, Shido tries to get Miku's help in order to save Tohka, but Miku stubbornly refuses. However, Miku is now more wary of Kurumi after seeing what the latter can do. If Miku can't help, it's best that she stay out of the way of Shido and Kurumi rescuing Tohka from D.E.M.'s Japan branch.
But Kurumi has another (currently unknown--at least to anime watchers) reason for attacking the D.E.M. facility, and leaves Shido in the hands of Mana...and the
Fraxinus crew (now free of Miku's mind control). Yet even with Mana and Kurumi's help and the
Fraxinus crew supporting him, D.E.M.'s facility is heavily defended by Bandersnatches and Wizards. And if that wasn't enough, Mana has to deal with the leader of D.E.M.'s Spirit-hunter team--who now pilots an improved version of White Licorice.
Ah, damn... Two episodes left.
