Non-Key Forces and Personalities:


The KyoAni Empire is controlled by the chaotic will of the God Empress Haruhi from her personally named Sector of Suzerainty. Her will is law. Her whims are chaos. Her needs are order.

With such randomness, it is amazing the Empire is as powerful and large as it is. At her side are those most loyal to her, or those that know the universe is doom if she is not entertained. (This includes her First Dog Soldier: "Kyon", and her Esper Combat Team: "Itsuki" and other presently lesser minions.)

The God Empress is aided directly (and indirectly) by St. Nagato-chi, manipulator of data. There is little that can stop Nagato when she sets her mind on something. Be it a novel, a computer program, or altering space-time...it is just the changing of a little data here and there. As the Chief Intelligence Officer, St. Nagato-chi's eyes and ears are everywhere. As one of Haruhi's closest circle, she is the one that defends Haruhi's flanks...and sometmes defends others from Haruhi's whims.

Haruhi's first large combat force, the Moe Marines of Mikuru. Known for their cosplay abilities galaxy wide and their ability to turn most male soldiers to there side with just the simplest cry. The Moe Marines are the first Shocktroops of the KyoAni Empire.

The God Empress' economic fortunes are held by the Stars of Fortune. This region of space, known for their prolific viral marketing, still keeps the KyoAni Empire from having any debts.

The center of trade is the World of Izumi. Linked closely with the God Empress herself, Konata: the Legendary Girl "A", maintains all trade concessions and routes throughout the Empire. If something is happening to the market, Konata knows about it. If there is a hot item, it can be found on Izumi.

The Trade World of Izumi is defended by the Twin Worlds of Hiiragi. These sister worlds bring two major stellar navies to the galactic scene and provide much of the KyoAni Empire's Non-Key firepower. With the Legendary Kagamin as the main Fleet Admiral...the Forces of Hiiragi are nearly unstoppable. The larger, but less powerful Balsamic Fleet under the command of Tsukasa uses small fighter craft and light combat vessels to dog her opponents.

Key Forces:

The Realms of Key have been around for many years. Before the God Empress graced this region of space, the Realms of Key were held by the TOEI Solidarity.

But with the appearance of the God Empress, the Realms of Key have slowly been added to the growing KyoAni Empire.

The Kanon Protectorate and the Border World of Misuzu are under the protection of the God Empress and have a long history of suffering in the TOEI Solidarity. While those of the Proectorate have served the God Empress before, Misuzu, though an older world, has only recently become prominate enough to gain the focus of the God Empress.

The Clannad Republic however, only briefly held under the grip of the TOEI Solidarity, has become increadibly strong and independent minded under the graces of the God Empress. Impressed with their combat record early in the Great Moe War, the God Empress granted the Clannad their own government and right to rule their own affairs as long as they remained loyal to the KyoAni Empire. Under President Tomoyo, the Republic has faced and defeated some of the greatest opponent of the KyoAni Empire.

However, it is Key Advisor Kyou who has the ear of the God Empress. The demon spirit and devistation Kyou can leave behind can be awesome, and this impresses the God Empress. Kyou usually leads Key Forces during major offenses.

President Tomoyo came to power during the Great War. While originally from just another Key world in the vast Realm, Tomoyo was not noticed at first. Even a long victory streak did not gain the God Empress' attention. It was when she was personally tested by St. Nagato-chi, that she was noticed. Her rapid kicking combos were able to parry the data manipulation of St. Nagato-chi and after a second round, defeat Haruhi's top combatant. This earned Tomoyo and Clannad the right to rule themselves in the God Empress' name.

Key Intelligence Officer Ichinose, while brilliant, is also a rather timid commander. However her careful study of patterns makes her able to dodge and parry most attacks and counter-attack when needed. She was unable to gain the God Empress' favor in a test of wits between "Kotomi-chan" and St. Nagato-chi, as Nagato was able to beat the Key Intelligence office by being immune to "Kotomi-chan's" sonic attacks. Officer Ichinose is also the frequent target of bullying by Advisor Kyou, which also amuses the God Empress.

Nagisa the Bold has only recently gained her title. Before she was a capable, but under appreciated force commander in change of the Dangos.

The Starfish Warriors of Fuuko have been known to be both powerful and weak, depending on the situation. While not always impressive on the battlefield, they have been known to come up with very unusual and unothodox tactics at a moments notice. They generally used starfish shaped vessels.

The Loli World of Mei is a new addition to the Republic's fighting forces. Added to replace both Republic's World of Ryou and Haruhi's own loli world of Kyon's Sister (know for its unconvetional "loli-in-a-bag" delivery system). Mei is still untested. Only time will prove is the battle cry of "Onii-chan" and sly tactical movements will be enough to take on the enemies of the KyoAni Empire.

Some might be indivduals themselves...though one would expect them to have a force of some kind.
(The West End Games version of the Star Wars Roleplaying game had an Organization style intended for that Galactic Empire.)

The difficulty is deciding what size of a force these should be, followed by type. But remember...Galaxy...think big.

Some of these may need personal definintions as their role may or may not be fleet or army command, but instead be a unit all to themselves (the Kagimiya Knights for example might not fit any order of battle and just be a single individual that commands whatever they are given or confront the situation one on one.

Yuki is likely a "Line Fleet" as well.
Mikuru is a Transport Fleet

Kagami is an Attack Fleet or Blitz Fleet (depending on definition)
Tsukasa is an Attack Fleet or Blitz Fleet as well. (Twins you know)
Konata is difficult. Maybe a Blitz Fleet or a Transport Fleet (trade world though...)

Tomoyo is a Line Fleet or an Attack Fleet
Kyou is an Attack Fleet (maybe a Blitz Fleet for being highly mobile)
Nagisa is a Line Fleet (I guess that fits the title of "Bold"...needs work)
Kotomi is a Defense Fleet (does a lot of investigating for a defense fleet...needs work)
Fuuko is a Bombardment Fleet
Mei is a Blitz Fleet or a Transport Fleet I suppose. Rapid deployment of loli power.

Misuzu is a Defense Fleet

Mai is an Attack Fleet I suppose (maybe a Transport Fleet for the warriors)

Defensive focused Blitz = Interception Fleet?

Escort Fleet for the Trade minded worlds maybe (Convoy Fleet doesn't sound right, does it?)

Some places that are generally referred to as worlds might only have Defense or Intercept Fleets

The stronger players might have a title/rank as well as a personal fleet of some kind. I'd think they would control major forces.

Attack Fleet = Force designed to engage enemy ships in combat.

Line Fleet = Force made up of the strongest vessels in the Fleet that can perform almost any task.

Blitz Fleet = Rapid attack force of smaller vessels that may ambush or intercept enemy forces. Also used for intelligence work due to their speed.

Bombardment Fleet = Planetary Assault designed to destroy cities and other large structures.

Transport Fleet = Moves around Army or Marine Forces for planetary invasions. Comes with escorts.

Defense Fleet = Generally orbital space stations, fighters, patrol craft, and some smaller warships designed to keep other fleet types busy until larger forces can be brought in, or to make attacking a world more costly than it is worth to take it.

The Kugimiya Knights:
Master would be a General equivalent (Admiral/General)

Knight would be a a lower ranked General or a high ranked line officer equivalent (Rear Admiral(Commodore)/Brigadier General or Captain/Colonel)

Padawan is a slighly lower ranked line officer equivanlent. (Commander/Lt. Colonel or Lt. Commander/Major)

Maybe after a certain point of ISML (like Aquamarine for example), where the strengh of some characters may already be accounted for, you can start to decide each chracter rank in their organizations and they may be promoted and/or lost a rank depending of the story?

Managed to come up with a system that allows easier combinations...

I pictured "Line" as more the 'default' fleet type... Sensor is for intelligence work.. ECM or rather electronic warfare is in there because of Nagato <3

Ithekro, can I leave it up to you to assign fleet designations & equipment?

Kotomi
Shiori
etc..

Edit: I have to test it first but I may be able to add a Carrier fleet type and a Fighter equipment type. May be able to make bombardment and dropship more discernable. Will only get to this later tonight.

Carrier and Platform fleet types added, redid Bombard and Dropship equipments, added Fighter and Missile equipments, added 'cloak' stance for the assassins... couldn't resist the Iserlohn and Artemis references.. ^^0

So basically this will work like so..

1. Select a basic "fleet" type
2. Select a "stance"
3. Select any combinations of 2 "equipment"

I didn't make/show all the possible combos as theres quite a bit.. (6 types x 3 stances x 36 two-equipment combinations), not all usable tho, some just won't make sense...

Kyou = Heavy Attack Line with Missiles
Nagisa = Heavy Defensive Line
Fuuko = Attack Bombardment Platforms
Mei = Attack Carrier Fleet with Dropships

Mai = Defensive Mobile Fleet with Dropships(?)
Nayuki = Attack Convoy with Dropships(?)
Makoto = Attack Convoy with Dropships(?)
Sayuri = Defensive Platforms(?)
Shiori = Defensive Platforms(?)
Ayu = Attack Convoy with ECM(?)

"Heavy" would probably be a bolded line to one side of the box. Might be used to indicate top 16 or so players.
