2017 Winter Seasonal Nominations

------------------------------

Nomination Rules and Guidelines:

1.)You may nominate up to eight(8) characters.
2.)You must nominate at least three (3) eligible characters.
3.)At least three (3) eligible anime franchises must be represented in your ballot.
4.)All nominations have equal weight. There is no ranking of nominations.
5.)You may submit your nomination only once. You cannot submit a partial ballot and continue it later.
6.)Ballots that do not follow these rules will be discarded entirely.

7.)Do not nominate a character if...
- The character will appear in ISML 2017 Main Tournament
- The character scheduled to appear in ISML 2017 Tournament of Champions
- The character's anime series appeared within the the previous four Seasonal Tournaments*
* Exception: If a character's first non-cameo appearance was after November 6th, 2016, she will be considered.
- The character has fewer than three lines (spoken or otherwise) within the season

The following series are available to nominate, some with more restrictions than others.

Because that's when Fall Nominations ended, so this gives a chance to those characters who missed the deadline given that their series continued for a second cour.

more like no one cares. This season is just too weak.
Lots of new charas, none leaves a powerful enough impression across a large enough fanbase.
Even last fall, at least, have Yuri!! on Ice, which means nothing to us, but left a good memory to the fujoshi fanbase
This season is so RIP that its most watched anime is a gag comedy show with DEEN horrible art & saggy tits.

I might not even be surprised if we see another troll finalist from short series like Ai-chan from last season.

Hmm, I have a question. What is the eligibility for characters of long-running anime like One Piece, Detective Conan and Naruto: Shippuden?
I see only winter series and autumn left overs in the series list, but from the look of the rules, it didn't say anything about long running series. It simply says no candidates from main tournament, toc and previous 4 seasonals. Characters like Hyuuga Hinata and Haibara Ai both had appearance in Winter, but came from their respective long-running series instead of winter season animes.

I think this Winter season isn't weak enough to have a troll finalist, maybe because Tanya, Kanna, and Satania are giving me vibes they'll most likely prevent a troll finalist from happening.

Last seasonal is RIP because nobody cares about seasonal at that time.
This winter brought us a great number of impressive girls. Maybe not that impressive to get us HYPED, but there is no place for a second Ai-chan.

They are eligible in two ways.

If there was any character from the series involved in the previous 4 seasonals, which would be all the 2016 seasonals, then only the new characters that appeared after November 2016 are eligible, provided that they are not in 2017 Aquamarine matches.

If none of the characters from the series were involved in the previous 4 seasonals, then everyone is eligible except for those in 2017 Aquamarine matches. Since none of the female characters from three mentioned characters made it to 2017 Aquamarine period, unless the series had any representative in 2016 seasonals, they are all eligible for this current seasonal tournament.
