I've been waiting all Summer for a chance to put my 2 cents in for the Fall nominations since Yuuki Yuna characters from the new OVAs would be eligible.

Since I posted a thread about someone I thought should be considered the "Best Girl of All Time", at first my nomination sheet was going to look like this:

But of course since that would never get past the rules, I had to modify it a bit. So my actual nominations are thus:

Let the record show I still believe Gin to be such an unbelievable yet adorable bad ass that I wish the first ballot would have been considered legitimate though.

Why Hashima Chihiro isn't eligible???

Because the anime viewers do not yet know the truth about Chihiro. I am sorry but when we mean data from anime that aired before the end of nomination data, we literally do mean data from anime, thus important data that will be revealed as big plot moment cannot count, yet.

No. Just use the sitemail function in this forum. We can find a nomination that nominated just as you posted.

Because the anime viewers do not yet know the truth about Chihiro. I am sorry but when we mean data from anime that aired before the end of nomination data, we literally do mean data from anime, thus important data that will be revealed as big plot moment cannot count, yet.

The final bathing picture of Episode 2 should have been clearly Chihiro is a girl, and if them can watch animation from internet, to search the gender from anime forum is not difficult.

I don't think ep 2 showed clear enough picture, and there are many people who deliberately avoid searching for spoilers.

Well......, I respect your decision,after all, the operation is yours,but I do not think it is a good idea to disqualify a character because some people do not know the gender,perhaps many people will nominate her.Thank you for your reply.

I admit it is unfortunate that we can't make Chihiro eligible yet, but it is a compromise between concerns. Chihiro will very likely be eligible for the 2018 main tournament at Chihiro's true gender's division.

I wonder if characters from Houseki no Kuni are eligible? They are genderless rocks, though their appearances and voices are pretty much female.

they look like girl, and depicted like girl (I mean: there's no one instance where they are depicted as boys/traps instead)
so they should be eligible.
