Before I end up wasting one nomination slot, I want to ask for clarification. Could I nominate a character from Gundam Build Diver? Even though the series starts during spring season, none of their characters pass the nomination stage for spring tournament. Doesn't that means the series did not participate in previous seasonal tournament?

In the past, if none of the characters pass the nomination stage for the season right before it, we accepted it as same as not having participated in the previous seasonal tournament. Unless someone can post why we should change the precedent in the case you are interested in, your nomination of a character from Gundam Build Diver should count.

More like we miswrote the rule. The trouble with using "eligible for" is that it is much harder to check compared to "passed the nomination". One of the contributing reasons to why no one from Hero Academia qualified for 2017 Summer Seasonal is that almost everybody thought they were ineligible because they were definitely not eligible during season right before it. When we have these kind of situation, it may beget the question that "is it fair to make a character ineligible because she actually was eligible in a seasonal where everyone thought she was ineligible?" So, we are discussing how to best reword the rule to properly state the "passed" condition instead of "eligible for". It feel weird nominating the same character for two consecutive season, but I think Sarah really deserve the slot, especially after the second part of Gundam Build Diver. The consequences, Chisaki end up missed the last slot. (If it is Hibari, I might have a harder time to leave her out of slot though).
