At least, Hinagiku put up a decent fight. Aoi made it in, which makes me happy. For today, I will vote for Sakura and Sawako, though I do not think either can win their block.

I could take a second round, third round, block finals alot more than a first round loss. I see what it feels like for others to over celebrate a victory but get criticised (and disgraced) for not accepting a loss. Sure it will be tough to get over losing Hina, but if any of my other favorites do very well, I should be able to get over it.

Edit: I was just as annoyed with Mio losing to Kana last year. The difference, Mio's first year in J-Saimoe, didn't get enough of a chance to get attached. I would think she can do better this year.

Cecily and Hitagi won, which is a good result. This confirms that either Seiken no Blacksmith is quite popular in Japan, or their competition was not that great to begin with. For today, I'm voting for Kana and Minatsu.
