Technically, I was on the fence as to whether I should vote Hitagi and guarantee a different winner or vote Mio and make sure Hitagi doesn't win. In the end, I went with Mio, and it counted. Hitagi is out and now I will support Kanade in winning her first.

.........Mio won by one vote.. Hitagi was leading her throughout the race, but she took the lead by one vote at the very last minute... I hate to dislike one character for this reason, but she just knocked out my favourite from ISML 2010 campaign.. not to mention Mikoto was beaten in ISML as well. If she knocks Tenshi out, I don't know what I will do LOL.

now I pray Tenshi will stop Mio double at all costs. I really wanted Hitagi to win something pretty badly now it is no longer possible.

This is a wonderful result for me and thanks for everyone who supported Mio. I don't care who wins the finals but I think it'd be better for Tenshi to win since Mio already had her own share of victory :p

Tenshi for KBM 2010!
In order to achieve that we will needs hundreds of more votes from English speaking region. Where can I find some that I haven't reached out, yet?

Yeah, I agree.. I have a hunch that Chinese population will back Mio more than Tenshi which probably made the difference in Mio's win over Hitagi.

I found Angel Beats fan club by googling it. http://www.fanpop.com/spots/angel-beats" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Maybe, sending messages to all members will work out?

I don't think there are any Angel Beats dedicated fan websites, so campaigning in popular websites such as animesuki and myanimelist would work out the best. I never really campaigned in other websites before, but I think I will do that when I have free time today.

fanpop.com is not a good website. It tries to obtain all your facebook.com records when you register. Although it can be avoided, I don't think their refutation can be good.

Incredible result is incredible. You really feel that your vote is important... Well, the final of KBM 2009 was very close too.

I'll try to find some votes on Facebook if it's not already done. Kanade MUST win !

Too bad Hitagi didn't win by one vote. ;_; But Mio is fine with me, so that's okay.

Don't know who I'll be supporting in the final though.

I am very surprised that Mio won by one vote. I still like the results though. Now, I shall fully support Kanade in the finals and hope she wins it.

Mio with ONE VOTE was a close call against Hitagi...ISML 2010 belongs to Mio...I wonder if she will win the Korea Saimoe Title...? I hope so...I also like Kanade as well...but since I am double-sided...I will go for someone who wants it more...

Hitagi is more popular with KBM Korean voters, but Mio won by one vote thanks to her appeal to Chinese voting population which also backed her in ISML. This shows the differences in tastes in each country. Majority of ISML voting population is Chinese voters, so that is probably the reason why Hitagi didn't do as well. Hitagi is more popular in Japan and Korea.

Hitagi lost just one vote, that made me so sad.
However, it Mio and Hitagi become a tie, then Kanade would be eliminated(...)
...Poor Hitagi, I don't think she can entry next year, when can we see her? Next next year?
Final is starting 4 hours after! I hope Kanade win!

By the way, about the Super Moe Tournament that will be open after the KBM...
Sitemaster decided to entry both girls and boys in this year's SMT...
boys 128 + girls 128 = 256 ←then make one boy%one girl a one team and doing a team play
Also, maximunm 6 people in a one ani/game/comics etc. can entry the tournament.
Oh oh, it would be a chaos! I'm still not sure how many people we can suggest.

I don't think it's a definite yet, but the plan's like this:

Nomination
You can nominate up to 5 characters per id address. There will be 5 nomination phases, so basically you can nominate 5x5 = 25 characters in total. Only up to 6 characters per series will be allowed to participate. If there are more than 6 characters nominated, then the characters with top 6 # of nominations for that series will be allowed to participate.

*note: series eligibility: anime, manga, light novel, game (not sure about criteria for game but I would guess something like Umineko, Touhou, etc. that are related to anime community and moe culture), anything that relates to moe-culture I suppose. Also to nominate you need 1) Korean name (ask maglor, I, or any Korean); 2) English name; 3) picture (official art only, no doujin; ex)Umineko, illustration from Umineko anime, game, comics, cd are okay. but not from a random fanart, no matter how pretty it looks).

SBM
There will be a separate preliminary round for male and female characters. 128 male and 128 female characters will advance to main round = 256 characters in total. There will be 16 groups, 64 teams, 4 teams per group. Basically, what's happening is that two male characters will "team up" with two female characters. So, basically 4 characters per team & 64 teams = 256 characters; 4 teams x 4 characters = 16 characters per group & 16 groups = 256 characters. In Round of 256, one team per group will advance to Round of 64. (16x4=64 characters)

In Round of 64, there will be a shuffle and now one male character and one female character will be paired up to form a team. Round of 64 will consist of 1:1 battle between teams. In total there will be 32 groups and 16 matches.

Round of 32 and so on is basically like Round of 64 except teams are reshuffled each time.

I'm not sure about how the final match is going to be like.
