Apparently too many good characters in both Train and Sven's groups to a point that there were only a handful of votes for both.
Too bad Detective Conan (Case Closed) was such a long series, was unable to continue after awhiile. Insane voting (even higher than Durarara's representatives)

In a weaker group Hideyoshi might of had a chance at winning. Good try though.

The Match Schedule will be announced within 24 hours. The round of 256 will start on Nov. 22nd 0:01 AM KST =Nov. 21st 3:01PM (GMT) = Nov. 21st 10:01AM (EST)

Groupings have been announced. There will be 4 TEAMS per group. Each team has 1 male and 1 female characters. Top 2 teams will advance to the next round, where new teams and groups will be formed.

Interesting pairings for the first round. One of my favorites Hinagiku should be OK. Mikoto ended up with a decent partner, but with a godly pairing of Haruhi and Elric as her opponents, decent is not enough to win.
Yami got an excellent partner in Conan Edogawa. Same for Taiga with Kudo.

My lovely Yoshi had a good partner with C.C., but against the pairing Fate - Len Kagamine, that'll be hard ^^
A fun group is Aria and Gandhi ^^ And well, Haruhi - Elric may be the best group.
