Name change for contestants

this is the board where we can complain right?
I think we need to change the names of some contestants now for various reasons, should they make it to next year's tournament. And personally, some of these names really tick me off for no reason

Maybe you could implement a "Name settings" for Latin Alphabet languages if it's possible. (Given name first, Family name first, Enable/disable diacritics)


NAME CHANGE SUGGESTIONS LIST FOR 2021 (primarily in English)
1. Shirogane Kei (Shiroe) ---> Shiroe from Log Horizon
---- Just remove the "Shirogane Kei" part and simply leave his name as "Shiroe" because that's what everybody calls him as. i don't know who and why ISML decided to enter him using his real name (Akatsuki also has one, but it's never shown here); on top of that, it's spoiler information. And with the release of Kaguya-sama, "Kei Shirogane" will forever be associated as Miyuki's younger sister and the winner of Spring 2020. There can't be a better time to change his name.

2. Erythrocyte ---> AE3803 from Hataraku Saibou
---- "AE3803" is her cell number. With "Hataraku Saibou Black" spin-off soon to air next year, there will be a new male "Erythrocyte" from the show (AA-2153). I suggest we change her name to "Red Blood Cell AE3803", or simply "AE3803" if the former is too long. I 'm not really particular into using Erythrocyte as part of their names...

3. Neutrophil ---> U-1146 from Hataraku Saibou
---- "U-1146" is his cell number. Same reason as above, the Black spin-off will have a female white blood cell (U-1196), and having their names remain as "Neutrophil" will lead to confusion if shown without pictures. I think it's better to name them using their cell numbers instead.

4. Index L. Prohibitorium ---> Index from Toaru majutsu no index
---- I know this name is used since 2009, but that name feels out of place. I've seen longer names than this. Why shorten the "Librorum" part? From what I see, her full name basically means "List of prohibited books" , it's not like she's got a surname or something. You either use the full, unshortened name, or simply shorten it as "Index".

Should we also consider changing the Chinese translations of Isshiki Iroha to "一色伊吕波/一色伊呂波"? At least because Bilibili and Kadokawa Taiwan, as redistributors of Oregairu in CN/TW, had changed so due to announcements from the feel. Inc?

i don't get it imo, the only difference is just a SINGLE STROKE 吕 / 呂 from what i see
for me if they wanna change her chinese name, no compromise is needed. Choose one or the other

Reason: Momonga is the first name when he registered as a player in Yggdrasil MMORPG.

I think ainz is fine as it is, isn't that the most common name when referring to the overlord protagonist? But to be fair, Myanimelist lists him as Momonga too

• Jeanne D'Arc (Fate, Summer Seasonal 2017 and ISML 2018 Contestants) --> Jeanne D'Arc (Ruler)
  Reason: To avoid confusion with Jeanne D'Arc in Ulysses anime, and Azur Lane as well. So, the avatar in ISML 2018 won't be same. (like Jeanne D'Arc (Ulysses) avatar located in Jeanne D'Arc (Ruler))

• Jeanne D'Arc (Ulysses, Fall Seasonal 2018) --> Jeanne D'Arc (Ulysses)
  Reason: same as above.

Seconded on the "Ruler" change.
I think the staff can change the names from past editions, but they won't do that for obvious reasons.
And Jeanne from Ulysses... is irrelevant sadly in the context of this contest.

Edit: wait, they have a jeanne shipgirl?...... Oh. It's the French cruiser one. But i doubt she'll appear here.
