It may not be Sakura Chiyo or Amane, but Rize does end up punished for her convincing win previous round (only because I still remember Chino with the convincing win over Rize in the seasonal tournament).

Only match that didn't change (reseed or no reseed) was Sakura Chiyo and Amane.

I think the only top challenger to technically benefit from the reseed is Latifah (Although Stephanie can still be a tough one to eliminate).

How did you manage your reseeding, because Amane won against a higher seeded opponent by 4 votes and Steph won against a lower seeded opponent with 2 votes. Should this not make Steph a lower seed than Amane?

Edit: Oh you did it by vote count (which is dumb btw since some matches got more votes than others)

Steph 53.8%
Rize 68.2%
Chiyo 77.3%
Amane 60%
Chifuyu 63.6%
Latifah 58.3%
Chino 57.1%
Kosaki 51.9%

Reseeded properly:
#1 Chiyo vs. #8 Kosaki
#2 Rize vs. #7 Steph
#3 Chifuyu vs. #6 Chino
#4 Amane vs. #5 Latifah

A has 75% of the vote

C| 25
D| 15
C has 62.5% of the vote.

But obviously A is not more popular than C. Heck, D is probably more popular than A. Raw percent isn't fair. At all. Vote count says a lot more (though that, evidently, isn't what Fuiji is using either).

Yeah but vote count is usually pretty consistent in this forum and lesser vote count USUALLY means that some people weren't available to vote or missed voting rather than not actually wanting to.

Would simply adding the V% and the VF together be an effective compromise? If we apply this to RailWarrior's scenario, this gives competitor A a combined value of 84, and competitor C a value of 87.5. Rankings for the current tournament would be as follows:

1. Chiyo 94.3 (77.3 +17)
2. Rize 83.2 (68.2+15)
3. Chifuyu 77.6 (63.6+14)
4. Chino 73.1 (57.1+16)
5. Latifa 72.3 (58.3+14)
6. Amane 72 (60+12)
7. Steph 67.8 (53.8+14)
8. Kosaki 65.9 (51.9+14)

Therefore:
#1 Chiyo v.s #8 Kosaki
