The poll question was "Which anime should reign supreme?"
There were three ways to go about this:
1) Choose based on favorite characters, with no regard to team-play and whatnot.
2) Choose based on how good the anime (as per the poll question) series is.
3) Choose based on compatibility of the characters.
My post was addressing how well the results fit into each of the three paths of voting. And using other media to judge the anime itself is ridiculous.

I beg to differ.
And I never voted for Amane because I genuinely do not like her character, and if Sachi was a contestant she would have gotten my vote every time.
