Off-Season Exhibition 3

You know what the sad thing is? At least one person is bound to not have watched any of these three.

This is a dilemma. Not sure which option to choose.

FMA: Brotherhood > FMA (first adaptation), NGE TV and CB
Rebuild of Evangelion > FMA (both adaptations), NGE TV and CB

Watched Cowboy Bebop but the episodic setup didn't quite clicked on me.

I'm in the same dilemma as you Kiopi, the different 'generations' of FMA stand on opposite sides of the opposing line, though I have seen four of the options. Both Fullmetal Alchemists, the original Neon Genesis Evangelion and Cowboy Bebop pretty high on my 'good anime to watch' list, even if it is the original FMA, they're all close enough to cause a conflict to the level of Hina-tan vs Azu-nyan in the ISML season.

It's about six different options as well forgoing any kind of qualifiers. Cowboy Bebop has a movie, Neon Genesis has a couple different itenerations (and that's just one of the continuities), and FMA has two/three depending on how you look at Brotherhood vs Manga.

At least there's no abstain votes yet.

You really want my brains to start leaking out my ears, don't you KS?

I voted for Eva.

I still need to watch Brotherhood, and I always preferred Champloo to Bebop in terms of episodic...awesome? All 3 options are good, though.

Cowboy Bebop for me. One of the few anime where I bought the first volume based solely on the packaging itself (and wasn't disappointed in the slightest). :D

KS, this is another impossible poll. They all deserve winning this poll.. SIGH well I will pick Evangelion, but the other two animes are equally good IMO.

Well, Brotherhood is my favorite, but if you speak only about the first TV series, I'll have to go with Cowboy Bebop... Rebuild of Evangelion is good too, but it's not over yet, so it's hard to count it in, and I didn't really like the original series...

I'll go with FMA, but try to make your polls clear next time (or maybe you did it on purpose !)

Voted for Cowboy Bebop. Shinji was too much irritating in Evangelion so I finally dislike the anime.

Haven't watched Evangelion, so that's out. I remember loving Cowboy Bebop to bits, but the epicness of FMA:B wins out in the end.

And guys, just take the best of each franchise. If A's best is inferior to B's best, then naturally A deserves to lose to B.

But what if the intent of the vote was A, while you voted for B?
That's why the dilemma for me, Brotherhood is at the top, while the original FMA is at the bottom (the original's best also has points when it rises above it's level), without something to clarify, the one we don't like the most could be scored while what the vote was intended to be for languishes.
As hinted at in the first poll like this, it includes all media, and with this small of a community, the votes of individuals count for much more than they do in the polls of the main ISML.

I own both the Cowboy Bebop series and the movie, and I've seen both the original Fullmetal Alchemist and Neon Genesis Evangelion series. I was exposed to all three via Cartoon Network's Adult Swim programming. I haven't been keeping up with Brotherhood, though. While FMA has an intriguing story that's neither too light nor too dark, I think Cowboy Bebop has a certain quality about it that makes it a good watch. I acknowledge the importance of NGE to character archetypes, but it is the least favorite of mine, simply due to all the reiterations it has gotten. While I'm sure some of the changes might be good ideas, nothing beats the original presentation. Much like George Lucas changing the Original Trilogy [of Star Wars for those not in the know] with the 1997 VHS and 2005 DVD Special Editions.

So Cowboy Bebop gets my vote, just beating out FMA.
