Re: RESULTS - Prelims I-4
A bit sad that Ikaros couldn't manage top spot, but oh well. The bright side is that the Seitokai casts, Hitagi and Shizuku made it through. Nanoha is pretty much a sure win from the start, so no worries about that.
And lulz at Tainaka Ritsu. Chii is certainly on a roll with her underdog status.

Re: RESULTS - Prelims I-4
What in the world happened to Sayuri and Sawako? Both of them underperformed by quite a bit and lost to characters they shouldn't be losing to. Ritsu looked bad in her match but she has the excuse of Nagisa causing her disproportionate harm relative to Chii due to both of them being Kyoani characters. Sengoku Nadeko looked pretty good out there. Seitokai characters continue to out perform by constantly rising expectations. I'm hoping they continue to do this well in the Round Robin tournament.
A miracle that you believe in when you know it won't happen......... is hope.

Re: RESULTS - Prelims I-4
Go Go Rena, take them home.
Suigintou finally wins a match as well.
Saber may take that group in the end, but Ranka Lee's been rather pathetic in ISML despite the Nyan-Nyan song. Nagisa still has a shot at it. And Chii...wow, where was this power last year? You came in with "Osaka" but managed to stay ahead of her (who didn't?), but not enough to hold your own, and now you are taking on the heavies again...and winning?
For the Space Opera we'll see on Wednesday who takes the first five star systems followed Friday with the remaining nine systems. The first steps to getting a solid handle on how the story will take shape, as over half the contestants will be in at such time. It will also give us a hint of what is in store for the remaining girls in Phase II.

I don't know about your abstain totals, but the total vote count went up relative to last week's Sunday match.

Re: RESULTS - Prelims I-4
almost 100% of girls that I wanted to win their matches won, but many girls that I was hoping for 2nd lost. Too bad Sawako, hayate, mayoi, koromo lost. I couldn't care less for Ritsu, but I voted for her since Chii defeated Suigintou, but she lost to Chii as well.. ;(
Well it seems almost fruitless to support Nan Koi, Saki and some Bakemono girls.
but yeah, even if Mio loses for a one in million chance, she will still go through the 2nd round.

Please someone stop her.. All I can say is go Kotomi, although I know Kotomi has almost no chance of defeating her. BUT who knows? Anti Kyo-ani supporters may team up against her to knock her out, since they rather face Kotomi then red hot Mio in the regular season.. I think that is why she got defeated so early in Saimoe, so that can happen again.Fate wrote:Mio completely dominated.

Mio's not going to lose. Watch out for her in the regular season.
I almost picked Ritsu as my team captain for fantasy, but damn, I never thought she'd get a 3rd place...
Not much else to say on this one, but I guess Uiharu and Ritsu will have to have some good luck in prelims round 2.

Re: RESULTS - Prelims I-4
From the first 9 groups, there are already nail biters:
- G1: Akiyama Mio vs Ichinose Kotomi
- G2: Sanzen'in Nagi vs Senjōgahara Hitagi
- G3: Maria vs Sangō Shizuku vs Shiina Mafuyu (most likely going to be between Maria and Mafuyu)
- G4: Hiiragi Tsukasa vs Sakurano Kurimu
- G5: Furukawa Nagisa vs Saber
- G7: Hirasawa Ui vs Ibuki Fūko vs Sengoku Nadeko
- G9: C.C. vs Izumi Konata vs Nanoha Takamachi

Re: RESULTS - Prelims I-4
Group 6 isn't a nail biter, but on the off chance Horo doesn't come in first, there will be a real tiebreaker situations between the winner (Ikaros or Yami) and Minori since Minori has beat both of them, but not Horo.
Group 8 belongs to Mei unless something really, really weird happens.

Re: RESULTS - Prelims I-4
Intense indeed , for me due to my Biased placement ( a massive long term Saber Fan ) G5 Saber vs Nagisa has me the most .. 'worried' lol but GO SABERKiopi wrote:From the first 9 groups, there are already nail biters:

After that I would say Group 9 a 3 way undefeated bout of power characters ...
I don't really see Mio having much trouble winning in G1 ..
Now G2 Nagi vs Hitagi that might be interesting indeed

Re: RESULTS - Prelims I-4
G1: Mio destroys Kotomi, no exceptions. Mio is already guaranteed a spot on the top 16 this year in my booksKiopi wrote:From the first 9 groups, there are already nail biters:

G2: This will be interesting, but having Nagi take down Hitagi would be one of the most satisfying victories I could ever accomplish
G3: This will be hard...between Maria and Mafuyu I love both and on a regular I would probably vote for Maria...but seeing Mafuyu doing this well makes me want to vote for her more. Needless to say you could even call this one Mafuyu's first real match since she is now going against someone who was in the middle-tier on the regular season last 2 years.
G4: As much as I've seen Kurimu win, Tsukasa wont lose >_>
G5: Tough call, Clannad support continues being strong, and Saber has the Type-Moon support, who won last year on round robin? I'll go with that result.
G7: I can see Fuuko winning sadly
G9: Konata with ease, C.C was only winning cause everyone else on that group sucked
