mistakes on Umineko for Higurashi, but it's ok because Umineko has expies of Rika :p

UIII! You're killing me!! Oh well, fantasy is just for fun.

So I'm really pumped for Mikoto and Ruiko to have both done as well as they did. I didn't expect some minor spinoff manga I started reading a year ago to get this popular, so that's always fun.

But what's up with Seitokai no Ichizon? Is it really that good of a show, or are the characters just really cute? They seem to be raping the prelims pretty hard.

Konata beating C.C. by 6 and Nanoha by 197... talk about epic match (I'd rather Nanoha win though, of course

). Oh well, at least Saten and Rika over Shinku and Suiseiseki was great, and the overall results aren't bad either.

And if you think this is despairing enough, expect masses of people to get spontaneously taller come Phase III.

Shinku lost.

Koromo lost too; seems like Saki's really not well supported in ISML.

But 3 of my favourites made it to the next round from yesterday's round of matches, so generally I'm quite pleased. Nymph's victory over Beatrice and Sawako is a bonus too.

Now I can exhale. Minatsu and Mikoto finish up my main favorites that are now in the regular season. Hope to get maybe a few more in, but I won't get too greedy.

If anyone thinks Seitokai's Mafuyu isn't cute, they need to go to the psychiatric ward. (My cute radar does not lie.)

No, but different things trigger different people's cute radar. 'Moe' doesn't always mean 'cute' as well.

Well, the characters have their own eccentricities which made the series fun to watch. I'd say Seitokai no Ichizon's popularity rides more on its characters and their interaction with each other than the story plot (nothing much other than talking in the council room a lot).

And to think last year Nanoha was on top of both Konata and C.C. What happened?

A yay for Nadeko. At least one Bakemonogatari character made it in early.

Konata and C.C. have there one large fanbases. Konata's in China and C.C.'s in Korea (based on old data at least)

Konata being a Chinese Saimoe champion and C.C. being the sole representative of Code Geass....which had a lot of Korean Fangirl support in days past.

Nanoha's fan base...while loyal and consistant, is not nearly as large...unless Fate is involved.

But I'm pretty sure she'll dominate Phase II !

Oh, and Mizuno Kaede finally won a match... I still don't understand why she doesn't get more votes. I guess that many people haven't watched Nyan Koi.

Also glad that Rika-chama, Holo, Ruiko, and Mikoto got through! It's too bad about Nanoha though. Hopefully she'll do better in the next phase.

As long as she does not get grouped with c.c again. Or some other tougher opponents like Hitagi or Kotomi in the next phase. There are a few more other characters that I feel she will not do well against this year, most of them placed second in their respective groups.

Of course it doesn't. (Besides, the "cute" I used towards Mafuyu was no different than the one I would use towards a kitten.)
