Group 1: Mio Akiyama (She's been downright dominant thus far, and I don't think even Tomoyo can stop her right now.)
Group 2: Yuki Nagato (Azusa's a good pick, but osing to Mio by 160 and Taiga by 20 is no knock against Yuki. A much easier draw helps her today.)
Group 3: Mafuyu Shiina (She and Kyou both finished third in their groups, but Mafuyu's opponents (Haruhi and Shana) are a fair bit stronger than Kyou's (Saber and Azusa), so I give her the advantage.)
Group 4: Fate Testarossa (She will look good today, but only because of her easy draw. I would not pick her in any other group.)
Group 5: Taiga Aisaka (Yui's better than her fourth place finish, but let's see if her struggles on Day 1 were due to her own weakness or her opponents' strength.)
Group 6: Kagami Hiiragi (Saber's not as good as her group win, and Holo's not nearly as bad as her fifth place finish. I'm gonna split the difference and say Kagami juuuuuuuust edges out Saber and Holo (in that order) in a close 3-way race.)
Group 7: Haruhi Suzumiya (Rin won't look too bad, but I don't see any of these girls really challenging the God-Empress.)

2 - Sanenz'in Nagi (Yuki is most likely, but don't discredit Nagi's victory over Hitagi in the preliminaries)
3 - Fujibayashi Kyou (Looks like an easy match)

5 - Aisaka Taiga (Veteran status may help her out in this group)
6 - Saber (She may carry over her prior group victory to help her in this group)
7 - Tosaka Rin (Both Rin and Haruhi have movies out. Which one will come out on top)

I haven't heard anything about the Fate/Stay Night movie (aside that DEEN didn't mess it up), but I've heard the Nanoha film was good, but the Haruhi film's production quality blows it completely over the other films. That and all accounts I've seen so far state that they followed the novel as close as possible (fixing one thing that didn't make sense in the process it seems) which will be a plus for both Haruhi and Yuki. Can't gauge any change in Mikuru other than she will not be forgotten.

I haven't heard anything about the Fate/Stay Night movie (aside that DEEN didn't mess it up), but I've heard the Nanoha film was good, but the Haruhi film's production quality blows it completely over the other films. If all those movies are as good as what they seem to be, we'll certainly have good surprises during Regular Season. Haruhi characters, and especially Yuki, will certainly gain much more than the others as it's a new story and not a recap as Nanoha and maybe FSN (I'm not sure about this though...), but the DVD and BD will certainly come later.

Tone or Action or the ending was switched up(at least in order if nothing else) a bit

there were changes and some mess ups .. there always have been there always will be with ANY adaption. That said I have seen reviews loving it to hating it- I will wait to see it for myself

Predictions
1) Akiyama Mio (At this point I don't think many can stop her not even Tomoyo)
2) Nagato Yuki (I just don't see an upset here today)
3) Fujibayashi Kyou (This match is anything but easy, Mafuyu will come close but I don't think she'll get there, god I hope I'm wrong about this)
4) Fate Testarossa (As many stated this group is much easier and I think her last match served as a wake up call to the Fate supporters out there)
5) Aisaka Taiga (Yui underachieved last match but her chances of winning this match is really little, on a side note Konata looks stronger than what she was last year)
6) Saber (A group full of veterans but only Saber's strength went up, Kagami sorta stayed the same and Holo and Mikuru's dropped quite a bit)
7) Suzumiya Haruhi (Rin poses a big challenge here but I think Haruhi will still edge her out)
