Question: What percentage does Hinagiku/Yuki need to win by in order for one to have a chance at defeating Shana?

Hm... roughly 6,500 votes (estimate) 54% = 3,510 I say 54% or higher.
It wouldn't hurt to have more total votes than Shana's total from the previous match.

I would say it needs to be by at least a ranged margin of 54-58%

Yuki can win with 45% and still have a chance to beat Shana. You read that 45% right.

As for Hina though, I have no idea who would get anti-voted more - her or Shana - so maybe 54%?

I think for Hina, it might be harder for her. I would say 55%. However, for Yuki, she needs probably 52%, because of the anti-votes.

I say it doesn't matter because anyone has a chance to beat anyone else it just depends on how big that chance is (I have no idea if that made sense)

Yuki defeating Hina by even one vote is more than enough of a chance to defeat Shana.

Tepes > Celty?
Rimi > Lacus?

Surprising results for the above two.

Everything else is within expectations..well, maybe except for the Bakemonogatari match. 1k+ vote difference is way too much from what I'd expected.
Supporting:
  • Bakemonogatari: Oshino Shinobu ♦ Sengoku Nadeko ♦ Senjōgahara Hitagi
  • K-On!: Akiyama Mio ♦ Nakano Azusa ♦ Hirasawa Yui
  • Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai: Kashiwazaki Sena
  • Kore wa Zombie Desu ka?: Eucliwood Hellscythe
  • Haiyore! Nyaruko-san: Nyarlathotep
  • Kyōkai no Kanata: Kuriyama Mirai
  • Hyōka: Chitanda Eru
  • Mondaiji: Kurousagi

I was thinking a closer match for both Hina/Yuki and Taiga/Haruhi. I think Hina is starting to pull away from Yuki. Taiga had no problems.

Kyou won her match, but what's up with Nadeko? She was a no show against Hitagi.

Yuki, I trusted you. So, Kyou is 13th; Kagami, 14th; Hitagi, 15th; Nadeko, 16th.I'm glad Chihiro won, even if it was at the expense of Sawako.
