I knew Yuki had no chance, but damn does it hurt. :(

If you ask any Bakemonogatari fan who his/her favorite character is, it will very likely be Hitagi. And when it's that exact same Hitagi pitted against Nadeko... cue favoritism at its best.

Every same series characters have their hierarchy of popularity and Bakemonogatari was one where I felt that Nadeko had a slightly higher placing in the series than Hitagi. Normally same series matches shouldn't have such a big movement in support among the same fanbase from Regular Season to Double Elimination, especially when Nadeko had the upper hand over Hitagi in Emerald 7 by 24 votes, hence giving the expectation that even if Nadeko were to lose, the margin gap wouldn't be of such astronomical values.

I know nothing about Mina, except from the pics found at AST.
I wonder why it wasn't Akiko VS Sanae (or Jam VS Bread).
If that jam could heal me...

I wish schools in America was as cool as schools in japan.....
all we seem to care about in america is ehhhermm....sports?
but then again, I already graduated so~ though I did have quite a few years of primary education in Taiwan and a year in america. let me tell ya. It is much different and the asian ways makes you 1. smarter 2. learn faster 3. don't learn the same thing over and over. 4. oh, and we don't have janitors we clean our own crap. 5. We actually have student councils, class rep. etc. 6. and a lot lot more freedom

So, we now know that Yuki and Haruni will fight for 7th place, in which I hope for Yuki to win that one. With the Shana vs. Hina match, I think there will be anti-votes for Hina because I think there are people out there thinking "We don't want Hina to win again." Then again, anything can happen in DE.

I want Azu-nyan to win win win
and it may be tougher for her vs. shana
so I want Hina to win....
Plus...I perfer Hina over Shana anyways~
so even if Hina beat Azusa its ok too but its not ok if Shana beat Hina and Azusa, then ill be depressed for a week =(

Phew, and Taiga just about breezes past Haruhi into...probably one of the fiercest matches she'll be in, especially since K-ON!! just ended. Sad to see Haruhi go, but she fought well. Good work this year.

It seems the extra few thousand or so voters in DE prefer Senjougahara to Nadeko, which suits me just fine 8-)

Other then that, it's disheartening to see the results of Akiko/Haruko...I know Air is less popular than Kanon, and as sweet as Akiko is, I just don't see why the gap is so wide between the two :tearsad: I found Haruko by far the best mother(ly figure) in KEY.

In terms of motherly-ness, I feel that Akiko has more of that though. Maybe it's because Akiko's deep affection for her daughter had a much more lasting impact on viewers' memories. Or maybe Akiko had a much more moe-factor, being the ditzy-mother type.

Nevertheless...astounded by how Akiko swept the world map in terms of vote support.
