There's the 'Hall-of-Fame' tier, holding Yuki, Haruhi (And yes, Numph); 'tiara-bearer' tier, holding the likes of Nanoha, Hinagiku and Mio; there's the 'record-breaker' tier, holding the likes of Tenshi and Mikoto (perfect and nearly perfect seasons); and then there's the Shana tier XD

Saw that. Cool that it gets an article and further notoriety but the discussion is just...lol. This is one of the reasons why I love this forum. It isn't full of angry trolls.

Few glaring falsehoods I saw.

1. Sure we know about bots spamming votes in manners many of you find hard to believe. Still we are confident we have caught most of them. There is reason why we have 12 hour vote confirmation period. We also encourage anyone to report to us any suspicious activity they see.

2. ISML Tiara winners can't be said to be pure tsundere. The inaugural winner Fate Testarossa is someone hard to be called Tsundere. 2009 winner Hinagiku is considered tsundere by many, but there are some vocal oppositions to that, one of them being I. 2010 winner Akiyama Mio is rather weak as a tsundere. Also, non-tsundere has fared very well in ISML as whole. If you consider proportion of tsundere characters in top 8 in AST and compare it to ISML, they are not that different.

3. ISML started because of AST? That depends on point of view. ISML discussion started right after Shana won 2006 - 7 Super Best Moe Tournament. More of inspiration were from 2006 - 7 Best Moe Tournament , with the most important one being trying for all time best instead of yearly best. While I won't deny AST's influence, the timing, the format, and also the interaction with KBM personnel makes it impossible to ignore KBM's influence to ISML 2008. It is worth noting that in 2008, automatic criterion used AST, KBM, and KSBM, thus 2 sets of representative from KBM compared to 1 set from AST. For this question, luckily we have good records preserved. Please check out the following posts for the start of ISML :

I would not really trust sankakucomplex in terms of posters. Most of them are pretty...liberal? in terms of voicing out opinion on either their way or the highway. There are some posters there that spout out false information about ISML, but I believe that it is useless to try to defend ourselves against them. They will not listen to what we have to say. Ignorant maggots.

Sankaku Complex is a wretched hive, 'nuff said. I hate how anonymity brings out the worst in people, just as much as I hate Facebook. -_-

Anyway, that's enough time wasted. I'd rather look forward to next year's ISML.
