Hmm, results went as predicted they would, except wasn't sure whether Kagami would beat Horo, but I'm okay with either way anyway. But wow, the RM voters dropped right off didn't they?

Why did Senjougahara lose :tearsad:

Lol @ Fate 900 vote thumping over Nanoha, Taiga 900 vote thumping over Shinku. RM faction is pretty much dead eh?

Happy at Fate's victory, and also feeling a little sorry at Nanoha.

And Mio manages to beat everyone in the entire round's vote count...except for Taiga's count.

Let's do it again:

Kagami def. Holo 1659-1317

So it's pretty clear that a large chunk of Holo's first round votes were anti-Shana instead of pro-Holo. She had a good run and has nothing to be ashamed of. Kagami, meanwhile, continues to play Jeckel & Hyde. She looked good today after looking rather meh against Rin. Now she faces Haruhi in what amounts to an inter-show match. I think the God-Empress will pull rank and end the elder Hiiragi's season... but with Kagamin, you never know.

Suiseiseki upsets Miku... oh wait...
Mikuru def. Suiseiseki 1713-1280

Oh wow. Are the dolls that weak, or... gulp... is Mikuru that good?
SpoilerShow
Mikuru's not that good.
Mikuru's going down to Tomoyo, and it will not be pretty.

Fate def. Nanoha 1757-851
The gap's probably bigger than most predicted, but this was as close to a lock as you could've had. Nanoha now drops to 0-4 in her playoff career, and with new guns coming this year (Saki and K-On! come to mind), I think you may have seen Nanoha in the playoffs for the last time. Now Fate's... well, fate... lies in the hands of Suigintou. And make no mistake, it's in Suigintou's hands. This isn't a match which Fate can win, but it's a match which Suigintou can lose.

Taiga def. Shinku 1952-1009
Oh wow. Yes, the dolls are weaker than perhaps any of us could have imagined. And yes, Taiga's doing better than her #10 seed would have you think. But wow. Taiga, ladies and gentlemen, can do some things. With a win THIS convincing, I don't see how she's not the favorite against Rin... and maybe even beyond.

And the Bald line for Thursday:
HARUHI +150 over Kagami
TOMOYO +250 over Mikuru
SUIGINTOU +75 over Fate
TAIGA +100 over Rin

I admit I was not shocked by 3 of the 4 outcomes at all.. Though I honestly thought Horo wold beat Kagami *shrug* but really this was just one big butchering aside from Horo vs Kagami. But I also agree and did earlier as many did say they voted for Horo to vote against Shana.. But still at least it was a 'match' lol

Poor Nanoha, rest in peace.

And man, I thought all the MSLN voters would be here considering the revolutionary match up Fate vs Nanoha. Totally didn't expect Hayate and Vita to still lose.

sigh, welcome to my world. They're continually screwin my fantasy, I may have to stop putting faith in them. Though the 'revolutionary' matchup probably gave more reason for them not to show up, since there was much indecision to be had.

@amdrag: I was being purely sarcastic. :3
...Thinking Saki characters will make it big in ISML for starters, and it only got more amusing from there.

And *cough* Nanoha movie releasing Jan 2010, I don't think It's the last of Nanoha, especially not by the hands of Saki. Nanoha's managed two top 16 finishes with a relatively unpopular series that's 2.5 yrs old. A movie with enhanced animation should remedy that. Even if it remains as non-mainstream as the seasons, Nanoha will atleast be fresh in the peoples minds that know her(Come 2010). Though she does need to stay alive until the movie get's subbed and makes it's way outside of Japan.
